i. early life ;
# yoon jae-hwa was born on april 1, 2000, in south korea. he began playing the piano at the age of five, quickly showing an extraordinary talent for the instrument. by his early teens, jae had participated in numerous piano championships, earning accolades for his technical skill and musical expression. his dedication to music led him to compete in the 2010 van cliburn international piano competition, where he won first place, making him one of the youngest gold medalists in the history of the competition. following his success in classical music, jae eventually expanded his career into singing and dancing, leading to his selection as a member of seventeen.

ii. 2015–present : debut with seventeen ;
# jae debuted as a member of seventeen on may 26, 2015, with the release of the group's first mini album, 17 carat. since then, he has been actively contributing to the group's music and performances as part of the vocal team. jae's vocal talents, along with his dance skills, have made him a vital part of the group's success.
