Vic is being unusually quiet, and Kellin tries to cheer him up

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" Vic!" Kellin calls stumbling through the front door, heaving the many grocery bags along with him. Walking into the kitchen he sees Vic sitting at the breakfast bar staring numbly into his bowl of cereal, stirring around the soggy cheerios. Setting the groceries down on the counter, Kellin sits next to him, wrapping a consoling arm around his shoulder.
"Vic?" Kellin questions softly, giving his shoulder a squeeze.
Vic just sighs sadly and pushes Kellin away, dragging himself into the living room and falling face first onto the old couch.
Following after him kellin sits by him, rubbing comforting patterns and swirls over his back soothingly.
"Whats wrong?" he asks sadly, Vic is never like this, his usual upbeat and happy persona now replaced by sadness.
"Nothing" Vic croaks out turning on his side to face Kellin, pulling his knees to his chest.
"Are you not feeling well? Do you need Advil? I'll call the doctors..." Kellin rambles on only getting an unamused glare from Vic. Kellin trails off looking down at the ground embarrassed.
"Sorry" he mumbles " I'm just worried about you"
"I know" Vic whispers sitting up and giving Kellin a quick and hug  " I just need some time alone, to think"  and with that he stands up and pads up the hardwood stairs leaving Kellin sitting alone in the living room, extremely confused and dissapointed in himself.
He begins to unload the groceries with the thought of Vic still on his mind. What could be wrong? Lost in his thoughts Kellin busies himself in the kitchen, putting away the milk and attempting to make dinner. Vic usually was the one cooks, learning from his mom when he was younger. Pulling together a "gourmet meal" of slightly burned toast and undercooked mac and cheese Kellin makes his way upstairs to the closed door of his and Vic room. Knocking on it softly before opening it just a crack to stick his head in. Laughing to himself, Kellin sets the tray of food down on the bedside table and lays next to the lump of blankets that could only be Vic. Climbing under the blankets, Kellin wraps his arms around Vic's waist bringing him closer, and burying his head in Vics neck, smiling softly.
Vic squirms trying to escape from Kellins grip, only making Kellin hold him tighter.
"You aren't running away from me this time" Kellin growls playfully into Vic ear kissing his cheek.
"Kells" Vic groans "Stooooooooooop"
"Nope" Kellin laughs rolling on top of Vic. "You aren't leaving this room until you tell me whats wrong."
"No" Vic pouts pushing Kellin to the floor and rolling over pulling the duvet over his head like a child.
Ripping the covers off the bed, Kellin pounces on Vic, littering his face with little Kisses
"Tell. Me. Whats. Wrong." he demands
"Ugh, fine kellin, just get off of me!!" Vic whines sitting up.
Kellin sits across from him, crossing his legs and hugging a pillow. Clearing his throat he begins " I am your therapist, tell me whats wrong"
"I-its just the new album. I want it to be perfect for the fans, but I just can't get the songs to sound right, no matter how hard I try or how late I stay up at night brainstorming ideas. I just don't want to disappoint anybody." Vic shrugs frowning. "I'm just scared, ya know?" Pausing, he looks Kellin in the eyes, giving him the feeling that what Vic is about to say next doesn't just apply to the album. "I'm scared of never being good enough....for the fans.....and for you" Vic whispers, the last part almost inaudible.
Kellin pulls Vic into a bone crushing hug.
"That's not true, the kids will love whatever music you put out, trust me on that." Kellin consoles giving Vic a quick kiss before continuing "And you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love you"
"I love you too" Vic smiles
"And there's the smile I was hoping for!" Kellin laughs before attacking Vic's mouth with his own.
