Stormi POV

When you're an identical twin, everyone thinks that means everything is the same. And physically, we're pretty much the same. There are a few slight differences that you'll notice if you look hard enough. Story and I are completely identical, except for our hair length, she is taller by an inch and a half, style, personality, and birthmarks. Mine is on my left shoulder, in the shape of a butterfly, while hers is on her right hip, looking like a blob. Story is loud, and very outgoing, while I'm quieter and more reserved. I prefer to sit on the sidelines while she grabs the spotlight.

So, I guess it's no surprise three weeks after getting engaged to my college boyfriend, he's here breaking off the engagement because, as he says, it's not his fault. He just fell for the wrong sister. That's a hard blow.

"You understand, right? I didn't mean to hurt you. Honest."

    "How long?"

    "Does it matter?"

Does it matter? Yes, Jason. It fucking matters!

"How. Long." I could see he didn't want to answer, but Story chimes right in, never one to let a chance you get a dig at me in.

"Since last Christmas when you brought him home to meet us. He got my number and we'd text as friends. But it moved to more. You understand, right?"

But, it's not over. No. Not by a long shot. This is happening at a family fucking cookout! With my family and his! Wow. Could this be more public and humiliating?! I nod. Not knowing what else to do. I just stand there, looking out over the rest of the party as my parents come over.

"Well?"  My mom asks, looking at Story and Jason, her arm wrapped around his. "Did you tell her yet?"

    What?

"Mom?" I ask because I need to know. Did they fucking know?! "How long?!" I can feel my breathing increasing, my heart rate elevating, my voice getting a little louder.

"Oh, honey. Please. It was obvious."

    "Obvious?!" I scoff, "TO WHO?!"

"Keep your voice down!" She hisses at me like I'm the embarrassment.

"How long have you known this hussy of a sister was fucking my fiancé and did nothing about it?!" I am screaming, letting the hurt and anger drip from my words like a slim oozing out of me. The music and chatter have all stopped. I can feel eyes on us, and I know everyone is probably looking at us. I'd never met Jason's parents; he met my family first. Is this why?!

"Ah. You must be Story," a couple came up to us, and I moved my gaze to the two traitors, "Our son has talked about you non-stop for over a year!"

"OVER A YEAR?! YOU'VE BEEN CHEATING ON ME FOR OVER A YEAR?!" The couple looks at me like I'm some kind of wild animal or crazy person, "Well. Don't worry, you don't need the gift I got you. I was excited to tell you today you're going to be a dad, as well as a husband. Looks like I don't need this," Handing him back his ring, "And you don't need to ever see us again." With that, I walked out. Once I was around the front, I heard Jason screaming at me, my sister screaming at him, and his parents demanding answers from them both. I hopped in my car and peeled out of the drive, as my now ex-fiancé ran for my car.

I rushed back to the apartment we shared, throwing the door open, and rushing to the guest room. If you're reading this anywhere other than wattpad it's stolen from EJKnight90. You could be reading this for free. I grabbed my phone, calling my bestie, Raven.
