Miguel's bedroom !!

ELIANA WOKE UP TO THE SOUND OF HER PHONE VIBRATING. Her eyes opened to see an unknown number on her screen and she hesitantly answered.

"Hello?"

"Eliana?"

Her head recoiled. "Robby?"

"Yeah."

"How, how'd you get my number? And... when?"

"Uh, I asked dad for it not too long ago. Um, look, I know you might be worried for Miguel so I just wanted to catch you up on what you might not know."

She straightened herself up and cleared her throat. "Apparently he's found his dad and he called your mom this morning." She quickly checked the time to see 3:37 on the clock. "We know there's no way he's been here that long though so, it shouldn't be too long till we find him."

Eliana took a huge sigh of relief. He found his dad, but he called Carmen so that must mean that he was still safe. He wasn't hurt, well, physically at least.

"Thank you, Robby."

"No prob. I'll call you again if anything happens."

"Please. Bye."

"Bye."

He ended the call and Eliana was left alone. The call comforted her greatly and now she could relax as she would if Miguel was still with her.

She turned over in her bed and peacefully fell asleep. The day's basically already done. I'll be a human tomorrow.

Living room !!

The next day was turning out to be a quiet one, boring if anything. Eliana sat on the couch with a bowl of Lucky Charms. By now all that was left were the marshmallows, the TV played Carmen's favorite novela.

Carmen sat down beside her daughter and they watched the show. Eliana wasn't too into it, but she endured them for her.

The bowl was emptied and the teen stood to wash it. She heard a phone ringing and Carmen asking for Miguel. Eliana looked up while Carmen stayed silent, she debated asking for clarification but decided against it and just stared.

"Please Miggy, tell me you're okay." Carmen sounded so calm, it baffled Eliana, who was currently fighting herself to run to snatch the phone from her mother.

Then Eliana's phone started to vibrate in her pocket. She put down the bowl and spoon, drying her hands as fast as she could to answer it.

"We found Miguel. He's standing in the middle of a road and Dad's gone to get him."

She sniffles and wipes her tears away, only leaving space for more. "He's okay?"

"He looks alright. He's standing up just fine." Her crying was painfully obvious through the phone, Robby almost felt awkward just listening to it. "Are... you okay?"

"Yeah," She wiped her face with her arm, "Yeah, no, I'm good. Thanks for calling."

"Of course."

They said their goodbyes and the call ended. Eliana walked back to Carmen and they hugged. Then suddenly she gasped, earning a yelp from Carmen, and she ran to her Yaya's room to tell her.

She shook the woman awake, not too harshly. "Yaya, they got Miguel!"

She awoke, panicked from the wording, "¿Quién va detrás de Miguel?(Who's after Miguel?)"

Eliana laughed a bit, "No, no. Johnny y Robby encontraron a Miguel y lo traerán a casa!(Johnny and Robby found Miguel and they're bringing him home!)"

Maria's eyes widened and she smiled, "¿Miggy vuelve a casa?(Miggy is coming home?)"

Eliana nodded her head with a wide smile. "Sí. Sí, él vuelve a casa.(Yes. Yes, he's coming home.)"

They celebrated happily and fell asleep on the couch together. The quiet and boring day had turned out to be the best of the summer so far.
