Jungkook runs and runs, until his body is sweaty and it aches and he can't keep up with his pace. How could Jimin be in that deep of a relationship and be so affectionate with Jungkook? Was that how he treated all his friends? Was this whole thing all one sided? Jungkook felt so stupid, enough to cry over a dude he just met. Did he just waste a month? How could he not notice? How could Jimin not tell him he had a boyfriend after a month of knowing him? Jungkook would have mentioned he had a boyfriend when he first met a new person. He's hoping the relationship has only recently started, but he knows it hasn't because they said I love you for christ's sake. So why didn't Jimin tell him when he said he was comfortable with him just the other day. There are so many questions and Jungkook can't even think straight. He slows down and plops onto a bench trying to get his mind straight. He needs to talk to someone about what the hell he just witnessed. He rings Dokyeom and Yugyeom and they both pick up.

"Yooo it's big daddy Jungkook in the house!," Yugyeom exclaims with a laugh, "What is up dude?" He's laying in bed and Jungkook can see Sana's long brown hair on his shoulder.

"Hey JK, what's up?" Dokyeom greets from his desk.

"Guys remember that guy I was talking to? Turns out he has a boyfriend," Jungkook sighs hopelessly and they both go silent for a moment in shock.

"Oh shit..." Yugyeom whispers and sits up in his bed.

"How do you know?" Dokyeom asks, eyebrows furrowed.

"I was going out for my run when I saw his boyfriend dropping off food. Then they kissed goodbye and said they loved each other. Jimin even called him baby!" Jungkook groans.

"Shit man," Yugyeom sighs, "He's been acting so flirty and affectionate. That's so weird."

"I sensed something was off. This explains why he was a bit standoffish at first and why he's such a bad texter, but not why he flipped the switch and started being so affectionate," Dokyeom processes. Jungkook exhales and leans back on to the bench. He closes his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Guys, this is insane. I don't even know what to do. Like I can't keep pursuing him of course."

"Yeah, you definitely shouldn't. I mean I guess you can just be cordial," Dokyeom shrugs.

"No, y'all can still be friends at least," Yugyeom tries. Jungkook exhales again, thinking about Yugyeom's suggestion. He could be friends with Jimin, but it would be hard, especially if he was going to be so affectionate.

"I mean it'd be awkward and confusing for Jimin if you suddenly stopped talking to him, and like why not become friends. Like Jungkook, it'd be a little shallow to just cut him off," Yugyeom emphasizes. Jungkook agrees; he's not wrong. It would just be a little painful at first, but definitely doable.

"I see what you mean Yugyeom, but I don't know if that would be what's best for Jungkook," Doykeom adds. Yugyeom and Doykeom are always on different sides.

"I'll just talk to him and see how I feel. I mean I haven't fallen that hard for him, so maybe it won't be that bad if we end up as friends or just acquaintances," Jungkook admits. Yugyeom and Dokyeom hum in agreement.

"Thanks for listening guys. I'm going to continue my run and think this through a bit more," Jungkook sighs, standing up and stretching with the phone in his hands.

"Ok, Jungkook, don't think about it too much. Don't let it stress you out," Dokyeom consoles.

"Bye Jungkook. We'll talk again soon," Yugyeom says, waving at the camera. Jungkook waves bye and ends the call. He continues on his run half processing, half zoning out. He returns home and decides he'll just avoid Jimin for now.
