After a week of uneasy silence, Rohit spotted Ruhanika on the school grounds and rushed toward her. He was determined to make things right. As he approached, Ruhi stepped between them, her face a mask of fierce protectiveness.

"You will not talk to my sister !" Ruhi's voice was sharp, her eyes blazing with anger.

Rohit, caught off guard and deeply saddened by her hostility, tried to reason with her. "Ruhi, please, just hear me out. I want to explain."

But Ruhi was unyielding. "Explain what? How you hurt my sister? How you made her cry? Just stay away from her!"

Ruhanika, observing the scene, felt a rising storm of frustration and anger. "Ruhi, stop it right now!" she shouted, her voice echoing across the schoolyard. It was a rare outburst from Ruhanika, and its intensity stunned everyone.

Ruhi flinched at Ruhanika's sudden fury. "Why are you yelling at me?" she asked, her voice trembling. "I'm only trying to protect you!"

Ruhanika's anger boiled over. "Protect me? By driving him away and causing a scene? You think you know what's best for me, but you're just making everything worse! You always act like you're the one in control, but you don't see how your actions hurt me!"

Ruhi's eyes widened, the sting of her sister's words cutting deeply. Tears began to well up, her chest tightening with the pain of the confrontation. "I-I didn't mean to hurt you," she stammered, her voice breaking. "I just wanted to help. I thought..."

"Thought what?" Ruhanika snapped, her frustration palpable. "That you could fix everything by being angry? I don't need your anger, Ruhi. I need your understanding. And right now, all you're doing is making things worse!"

Ruhi's face crumpled as she tried to hold back her tears, but the emotional weight was too much. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I'm so sorry."

Overwhelmed and heartbroken, Ruhi turned and fled the scene, her vision clouded by tears. She ran to the nearest empty classroom, seeking solace in the quiet space. Once inside, she collapsed into a chair, her sobs echoing in the empty room.

Her shoulders shook violently as she buried her face in her hands. "Why did she say that?" she cried into her palms. "Why did she think I don't care?"

Ruhi's sobs grew louder as she replayed the confrontation in her mind. She had always been protective of Ruhanika, and now it felt like her attempts to help had only pushed her sister further away. "I just wanted to protect her," Ruhi muttered through her tears. "How did it come to this?"

Each sob seemed to tear at her heart, and she felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. She had always been the one to step in, to shield Ruhanika from harm, but now it felt like she had failed in the worst possible way. "I'm such a mess," Ruhi lamented, her voice thick with despair. "I should have just stayed out of it."

The classroom, once a refuge, now felt like a prison of her own making. Ruhi sat there for what seemed like hours, her tears slowly subsiding into silent, aching sobs. The emotional turmoil left her feeling isolated and lost, grappling with the sting of her sister's harsh words and the weight of her own guilt.

Rohit watched Ruhi leave, guilt gnawing at him. He turned to Ruhanika, his voice soft with regret. "I'm so sorry, Ruhanika. I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

Ruhanika's expression softened as she saw the sincerity in Rohit's eyes. "It's okay, Rohit. But you need to tell me what happened. Why did you react that way?"

Taking a deep breath, Rohit began to unravel the painful story of his life. He spoke of his father, a man so cold and cruel that he saw his own son as nothing more than a mistake. "He's always treated my mother and me terribly," Rohit confessed, his voice breaking. "He calls me a mistake every chance he gets."
