Chapter 1 (the only chapter)

Jack Anderson, is a random 32 year old man who lives an ordinary life in the small town of Brainerd, Minnesota. The town is known for its beautiful lakes and friendly people. Jack's routine rarely changes: work, home, and the occasional outing with his friends. That is, until he meets Lilith.

Lilith shows up one cold January night at Joe's Bar, a local place where Jack and his colleagues unwind after a hard day's work. She is very hot, with flowing jet-black hair, piercing green eyes, and a mysterious aura that captivates everyone. She wears a red dress that hugs her curves and high heels that click on the hardwood floor with every step she takes.

Jack is captivated by the sight of her. He can't take his eyes off her as she walks through the room, commanding attention without saying a word. Jack's friends nudge him, teasing him about his obvious attraction. But for Jack, it's more than just an attraction; it's an obsession that's starting to consume him. She seemed to possess an aura that set her apart from everyone else. He found himself gravitating towards her, drawn by an inexplicable pull that he couldn't quite understand.

Jack's admiration for Lilith quickly grows. He found himself thinking about her constantly, his mind replaying every interaction they had. Lilith, on the other hand, seemed indifferent and aloof. She often brushed off Jack's advances with a cold smile, but he persisted. He began showing up at Joe's Bar more often, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. He is unable to see the toxic nature of his love.

Lilith's dismissive attitude didn't deter Jack. Instead, it made him want her more. Lilith insulted him, belittled his job, and mocked his small-town life, but Jack couldn't resist her. Lilith's words were hurtful, but her beauty and the rare kindness she showed were enough to keep him hooked. He is blinded by his need for her validation, complied with her every whim.

As the weeks turned into months, Jack's devotion to Lilith became extremely unhealthy. He showered her with gifts and compliments, spending money he didn't have on extravagant gifts in a desperate attempt to win her affection. His friends and family began to worry, noticing the drastic change in his behavior, but Jack dismissed their concerns. His work suffered, his friendships faded, and his home was neglected. All that mattered was Lilith, and the validation he craved from her.

Lilith was not just a source of infatuation; she became the center of Jack's universe. He would do anything for her—fix her car at any hour, run errands, or just wait outside her house in the freezing Minnesota winter for a chance to see her. His obsession began to manifest in increasingly stupid ways. He would perform bizarre acts of self-degradation, believing that each sacrifice would bring him closer to Lilith.

He found himself performing increasingly extreme acts to gain her attention and approval—anything from lavish gifts to self-destructive behavior. He began to devote himself entirely to her, his thoughts consumed by her every word and gesture

Lilith took advantage of Jack's devotion. She asked him to do things he never thought he would. At first, it was small tasks, like picking up packages or driving her to mysterious locations late at night. However, her demands soon escalate. She wants Jack to steal, lie, and hurt others. Jack, blinded by his love for her, complies without question. He began sabotaging his own life, alienating friends, and engaging in reckless behavior. He committed crimes under Lilith's influence.

Lilith's manipulations grew more severe. She would offer him brief glimpses of affection only to withdraw them, heightening his agony and stress. Jack, driven by a sense of loyalty, would perform increasingly dangerous and destructive acts to prove his devotion. His friends, once close, were alienated by his erratic behavior.

His job deteriorated as he became unable to focus on anything but his torment. She relishes Jack's pain, drawing strength from his unconditional love. Every time she hurts his feelings, every gesture of neglect, it seems to deepen her grip on him. Jack's desperation is palpable, but he wants more, even as she gives less.

Jack's mental state rapidly deteriorates. He begins to hallucinate, seeing Lilith's face everywhere he goes. He hears Lilith's voice in his head, whispering dark thoughts and encouraging him to do unspeakable things. His once strong and reliable nature turns into erratic behavior. Jack's life turns into a living nightmare, but he cannot escape the gravitational pull Lilith has on him.

Jack's life became a series of desperate attempts to earn Lilith's approval, each one met with harsher treatment and less satisfaction. His once-solid world had crumbled into an endless cycle of despair and madness. The more he was hurt, the more he craved her validation, a validation that was always just out of reach.

One night, Lilith asks Jack to prove his love for her by committing a heinous crime. Lilith wants him to hurt an innocent person. Jack hesitated, the last shreds of his morality fighting back, but Lilith's piercing green eyes pierced him, breaking his resolve. Jack carried out Lilith's wishes, his soul shattered in the process.

Jack's actions began to catch up with him. He became an outcast in Brainerd, shunned by the society he once called home. His friends abandoned him, his family disowned him, and his job fired him. Yet Lilith remained the top priority in his life, her control over him never stopping. His logical thinking skills now broken; his decisions were driven solely by his desperate need for her validation.

He envisioned himself as Lilith's savior, convinced that if he could only endure more pain, he would eventually earn her love. One stormy night, after completing Lilith's delicate task, Jack confronted her. Lilith's green eyes shone with a terrifying light as she finally revealed her true nature.

"I've done everything for you," Jack said, his voice trembling with a mix of desperation and delirium. "Why won't you love me?"

"I am not of this world, Jack," she said, her voice filled with hatred. "I am a demon, and you are my slave. Your love for me gives me power, and I will use you until there is nothing left."

Jack's mind was shattered. He fell to his knees, sobbing. He had given everything to Lilith, and she had destroyed him.

However, even knowing the truth, he couldn't escape her grip. In his eyes, she was too precious.
