Part:2 [Responsibility]

"Why? Can't I visit my lovely daughter?"
[Raises both eye brows]

"What do you want?" [Sitting beside]

"Come on, I'm here to remind you about your actual job. [Leaning close] Don't forget that you are going to be the next boss."

"I don't want to be one, and besides, I don't  even like this job."

"Whether you like it or not, it's not my concern. Just stop wasting your time and focus more on your work." [Walks away]

[Jane walks in]

"Was your dad here?"[sits]

"Hmm... It looks like I can never get rid of this job, Jane. [Puts palm in her face, leaning back] Haa, only if he had let me complete my studies."

"Comeon, stop being all sad. Now listen, the Kims have been a great problem to us, and i have heard they are even planning to attack us."

"[Smiling] So let's kill them."

"[Smiling back] Let's go tomorrow."

"DAMN NO NO."[Looks at Yuna]

[Holding her bleeding hand]"I'm fine,the bullet didn't hit me."

"Let's go."

"NO WAY I'M LEAVING WITHOUT COMPLETING MY MISSION."

"Out mission has failed you idiot and you're injured. [holds her] Let's go now, or we might end up dead."
 
They go out of the place and straight to the nearest pharmacy to get Yuna treated.

"Jane, I can walk without you holding me."[ looks at Jane's hand]

[Leaves her] " Careful. "

"AHHH," both of the girls shot their head to the voice.

"Yeon?! What happened?"[kneeling down] asked Yuna as she saw Yeon coming out of an old house.

[Sniffing]"super ladyyy"[he burst into tears]

"YOU IDIOT COME BACK HERE!!" A guy came out of the house and went straight towards Yeon.

[Hides behind Yuna] "Who tf are you?" Screamed the man at Yuna.

"Why are you after this child?" Jane stepped in and asked.

[Leans forward] "I am his fucking father so give him back to me."

[Turning towards Yeon] "Yeon, do you wanna leave with me and never see him again,  or do you wanna go back to him?"

[Glaring at Yeon]"TELL HER THAT YOU WILL STAY WITH ME" said the man.

[With tears]"I can't leave."

"Fine [gets up] Let's go, Jane."

"Tck waste of time.Now come here, you brat. Imma teach you a lesson."

"IM SORRY [burst into tears]"

Maybe because of the pain in the kid's voice, Yuna halted, just to go back and get Yeon out of the place.

" Take care of this worthless so-called father Jane. I will go home now."

[Smirk] "Got it"

The entire walk home, Yeon was looking at Yuna, following her like a lost puppy.

At home
"Eat slowly [sitting in the table beside Yeon]," said Yuna as he saw Yeon hungrily stuffing his face with cereal.

"Omggg is so tasty."

"Aish.. wipe your face properly."
[Wipes the milk out of his face but stops]

"What happened here? [Frowning]"

"Umm, i fell while playing." [Flashing a convincing smile]

A bruise.. the guy must have beaten him up.

"Was the man actually your father?"

"Yes." [Sad smile]

"Here, have some more milk."

His smile got big as I gave him more.

"THANK YOU! YOU'RE THE BEST!!"

[Pats his head]" Eat well"

[Looks at her arms] " What happened to your hand??"

[Smile]" I fell down while playing."

Yeon gave Yuna a weird look.

"Liar, you can't hurt yourself like this while playing. [Pout]"

"Exactly, so now tell me, what happened to your cheeks?"

[Yeon looked down, knowing he can't lie anymore] "Dad had hit me because he said he hated me."

"Where is your mom?"

"She died when I was born. That's why dad hates me."

Yuna's pov:

The look at Yeon's face was heartbreaking. I was lost in thought when he said.

"Now tell me, what happened to you?"

"Ah, I was shot."

His smile dropped.

[Chuckle] "Why would you give me that look."

Jane comes home.

"[Pats Yeon] Go to sleep after you're done eating, hm?"

[Yeon nods]

"Yuna, come here for a while."

[Goes to Jane]
"What did you do to his dad?"

"Don't worry about him. He has probably become the fish's food by now."

[Eyes widen] "Huh?"

"If you hear what he did to Yeon, you would say he deserved a worse death."

"What do you mean?"

"He would starve Yeon, serving him 1 meal or less in 2 days. He got less nutrition than required, which is probably why he appears younger. [Halting and then speaking again]
Yeon only got education till the age of 8, and after his grandparents died, he was never sent to school again."

"I wonder what else this kid has been through."
[looks at yeon who was busy eating]

"This poor child even worked in places to earn for his dad whonwas also a gambler. I'm glad we found Yeon at the right time."

[Confused]" What do you mean?"

[Looks at Yuna with sad eyes]
"He was about to be sold by his father."

Did I hear it right? My jaw dropped.

"Yes, now tell me, what shall we do with Yeon now."

What else can I do to Yeon other than giving him all the affection he deserves?

"I have decided, Yeon will stay here with me."

[Jane looks at me in shock]
"Are you sure, Yuna?"

[Smile]"Yes, I am. He will now be my

responsibility."
