GWEN SENT a jab to the punching bag that was shaped as a mannequin. It's been awhile since she joined Cobra Kai and shes been getting the hang of it.

Strike first, Strike Hard, No Mercy.

She continued to punch over and over but a voice that was a few feet away stopped her movements.

"You wanna make sure to go for the throat." Robby spoke from behind her.

Gwen turned around, glancing at him up and down before going back to hit the punching bag. "Good to know," she answered.

She continued to throw punches and felt Robby sneak to her side, watching her intensely.

He furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at Gwen. "You have to use your body, keep tension here." Robby placed both his hands on her hips turning her slightly towards him.

She stared at his green ones, him doing the same with hers. He slowly took his hands back, "You're fast," Robby told her. "That's a good thing."

Gwen gave him a nod and turned back to the punching bag. "How's Kenny? Has he said anything about his bullies at school?" Robby inquired.

The brunette shrugged. "He hasn't told me anything. I don't think I have to worry about it anymore." Gwen responded. "I mean... he's already in Cobra Kai, learning karate."

"I don't want him to get his hopes up," Robby firmly told her.

"and that's a bad thing?" Gwen fully turned to him. "Don't you have your hopes up about getting Sam back?"

Robby turned his head, looking away from Gwen as he held his tongue back. "No way," She scoffed. "You still like her."

"I don't," He quickly denied.

"Really?" She tilted her head. "So you're not mad that she's with Diaz?"

Robby rolled his eyes when she brought up Miguel. "She cheated on you." Gwen reminded.

"It was a mistake," He defended.

"So why is she still with him?" A laugh left her lips.

The keene boy stood quiet and looked down with a serious face to hide his hurt expression. Gwen stood awkwardly, feeling bad that she said the cold truth to him. But that feeling went away when an idea popped into her head. A crazy one.

"I have an idea," Gwen spoke.

Robby looked up and stared at the girl with curiosity. "We should... I don't know... fake date." She said slowly and cautiously.

He raised his eyebrows. "Fake date?"

"Yeah," She nodded. "That's what I just said."

"And why would I do that?"

Gwen rolled her eyes and huffed. "Because it'll help you get over your stupid crush on LaRusso. And the dojo can't have you distracted because of her. I know you want to be the All Valley champion and... so do I." Robby tilted his head when hearing her last words.

"Kenny told our mom that we're in karate now and about the tournament. She already told us that she's coming to see us. To see me. And I don't want to disappoint her. My mom overworks and I barely see her. I just want her to be proud and see that I'm actually good at something." Gwen opened up to him, her face turned into a frown.

Robby didn't say anything, not sure what to say after hearing that. Gwen grew annoyed at his silence and scoffed. "Are we doing this or not?" She asked bitterly.

"I don't think it's gonna look real. We barely know each other–"

"My full name is Gwyneth Sandy Payne but obviously I go by Gwen only... I have two brothers, my favorite colors are pink and red, my birthday is april 1st, my favorite movie is 'How to lose a guy in 10 days' and my biggest fear is death."

Robby took a second to take in all the information with slight wide eyes. "Sandy?"

"My mom was a big fan of Grease, okay?" She rolled her eyes and shook her head. Robby laughed but she didn't with a deadpan face.

"My middle name is Swayze because my mom was obsessed with Patrick Swayze." He told her with a shrug.

"See," Gwen pointed out. "We already have something in common. Our moms came up with our middle names from celebrities they loved." She grinned.

Robby tried to hide the smile on his lips. "Okay... but how are we going to do this?"

"Rules." She answered. "Number one; no real feelings."

"Seems easy to me."

"Promise?" Gwen raised her eyebrow.

Robby cocked his head to the side. "I promise."

"Good," Gwen smiled. "But there's one more thing." She stepped closer to him before speaking again. "You have to train me to the point where I can win that trophy since I'm helping you get rid of that crush."

Robby glanced between her brown eyes and smirked. "Fine, it's a deal." He held out his hand for her to shake.

She took her hand into his and they did a firm shake. "We're officially fake dating, Keene."
