it was a warm summer day, the birds were chirping and the sounds of the neighbors kids playing in their pool could be heard even from inside yn's home. it was around 3 weeks after yn had turned 14. her parents had already returned to working again. they would usually take off a few weeks during the first month of the summer vacation. this was to spend time together as a family and celebrate yns birthday. yn had a rather normal life, they were well off money wise and had caring and kind parents. altough, like with most parents, they could get on their nerves sometimes. alot of the time actually.

now you might be wondering something along these lines; so if its this perfect summer day, then why is yn sitting inside on their bed playing romance games? and i have a simple anwser to that; theyre incredibly anti-social! and its not like theyre just introverted, they spent most of their life inside. they do have friends, but those are just school friends. people that they talk to so they dont look like a loser.

but dont worry, its not like they arent happy in their little goblin cave. theyve got everything they need in there. theyve got supplies to (insert favourite hobby) and theres enough food downstairs to last however long they need. and in terms of social interactions they can talk to their parents, or use c.ai. now i can see why people would be worried, but honestly, theyre completely fine! ... well maybe not completely, but the depressions thats slowly eating them alive is the norm nowadays, so who cares.

"agh!" yn exclaims as they stretch their arms out. "jesus, my back hurts..." they finally got up and out of bed. they take their phone and put on the auto-lessons feature in their game so that while their are gone they will still be productive in game. they make their way downstairs to grab a snack and make some tea/coffee. the house is decorated nicely, its a tiny bit modern, but still has alot of color and plants everywhere, which makes it feel cozy. as they start boiling the water to make their beverage, they notice a book laying ontop of the kitchen counter. "i guess mom got a new book... again" they mutter. they wait longer and longer for the water to boil, every second passing by, feels like a minute.

out of boredom, they reach out and take a look at the book. to their surprise, the book doesnt have a title or a picture on the cover. its completely brown, just like those books you can see in fantasy movies. it feels ... old? as yn starts to flip over the cover, they could hear their mom opening the front door. they quickly put back the book to where they found it and put the snacks back, knowing their mom would scold them for eating so many unhealthy snacks.

"im home!" their mothers rang out, "im downstairs, ma" their mother walked in "oh, thats a rare occurance" "yep, just making tea/coffee" the boiler makes a sound, indicating that its done. they pour the hot water into a cup and put the teabag/ instant coffee into it aswell. "im going back upstairs" yn stated. as they balance their cup in one hand, and open the door with the other "so soon?" their mom questioned, but yn closed the door before they could anwser.

as the night approached her parents went to bed, they were never the kind of people that would stay up late, unlike yn. they would usually stay up all night untill the mornign sun came peeping under the crack of her bedroom door. and ofc they cant last that long without having a snack in between dinner and the time they slept. and that was no different today. as the clock hit midnight they got up and sneaked downstaris in order to not wake their parents up. once she got into the kitchen she noticed the book that was still laying there. they got curious and lifted it up again before turning on the lights. they flip the cover over, it was heavier then they thought it would be "damn" she starts going through the pages and ends up pickin a random one to look at. on the left it read "Chapter 2"

in the top of the right page was a drawing of big red cutains, almost like the curtains on a stage for plays. ontop of the curtains the word "celestial" was written, behind the curtains was a girl peeping from around the corner. they start readin the text on the rest of the page, but before they could do that, a bright light comes out of the book and evelops the entire room along with yn. they felt like they were falling, but also being pulled upwards at the same time. "help! oh my gosh! aghh!" they exclaimed as loud as they could, but there was no sound coming out of their mouth at all.
