The red tint that had consumed the world was no more.
I looked around while taking in the sun. The rays traced my skin heating my body. The fur that once coated my body became a memory of resentment. I stood up and began walking towards the river where I had defeated the nine-tail fox.
Every step I felt a feeling of nostalgia. My body warmed up by walking on my two feet again and I began to run to the river.
I walked up to the water scared to look at my reflection. The pit in my stomach grew as my eyes darted away from the water.
I looked at my reflection with awe. It was beautiful. My skin was clear and my hair was long and wavy with a red streak the same color my fur once was. I had thin almond eyes the same color as the chipping stone fool gold. I had sharp features similar to those of a fox and black fox ears with white fur in the middle. I had the lingering features from my world before just refined.
I looked up from the water rubbing my hands down my body. I was no longer the fat kid who got bullied in class. This time it was different.
3rd person:
As Theron traced his body feeling the newly gained muscle he had received from his transformation. He heard a noise, his body instinctively turned around facing the path it came from.
"Who's there?" Theron voiced loudly with zero hesitation in between his words.
The noise continued as Theron approached the path with caution.
"Woooohh" echoed throughout the forest before a pale boy with curly ginger hair jumped above him into the water.
Theron turned to the boy as he came up from the water.
"Who are you?" Theron muttered
The boy smiled before letting out a few words. "It's me, Arthur"
Theron's eyes widened as he heard those 3 words. Arthur was stunning.
The water complimented his delicate skin. His hair had the same complexion as a ripe orange. With big brown eyes and freckles on both sides of his cheeks. His body was hairless and he stood at around 5 '8. He had low muscle definition but still managed to have a 4 pack.
First-person:
"System Is this Arthur?"
System: affirmative
"Alright read his stats"
System: Strength: 1,000
Speed: 800
Durability: 900
Agility: 870
Dexterity: 700
Intelligence:457
System: With your evolution, you can read magic
"What is his and mine"
System: Arthur's magic is 2000. While your is roughly 6,000
Arthur: Theron? Are you alright"
Theron: "Oh yeah my bad."
Arthur: "Do you like my new form?"
Theron: "yeah... you look amazing. The hair fits you"
Arthur grabs his wet hair and touches it while smiling softly.
Arthur: "Thank you Theron"
I nod slightly before walking towards him and stepping into the water with him.
I dunk my head letting the cold water flow throughout my scalp.
We finally stepped out of the water together.
Arthur: "What's next?"
Theron:" Clothes because we can't walk around like this"
We walked through the forest collecting sticks and leaves and spider silk and began crafting clothes.
