~*Chapter 4*~

"What?" Oren asked.

"Shit..." Frost thought, nervously.

Frost knew Salt wasn't lying. He was a mistake, a problem, something in other's ways. He was told that the world would've been better off all his life without them. When he was born, dragons found out and his parents were murdered for treason. If he weren't born, his parents would've been alive. He was ignored by both of his tribes all because of the whole Darkstalker incident, which was fair. Not only did he know he was nothing like Darkstalker, yet m he didn't blame his tribes for excluding him. He was raised by the Skywings because when he was a young dragonet, Cinder had found him and brought him back to the rest of the tribe.

Still, though, the thought that he had the one glaring trait relating to the dragon who almost wiped out an entire tribe was, to say the very least, horrifying.

"Fuck you." Frost hissed.

"Womp womp." Salt cackled.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Crimson yelled.

"You are such a BITCH!" Cinder spat.

"Dude that is uncool!" Oren screamed.

"Salt, that's not much of a revenge considering we know that. RIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTT?" Astraea stated, aggressively blinking at the last word.

Frost understood instantly, that Astraea was trying to pop Salt's ego, and it was working. Salt's face just fell and he whipped his head towards Frost: "You told them?"

"Yep, so womp womp," Frost smirked.

Salt then angrily stomped away with some people gazing upon Astraea in awe.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Like what?" Hornet asked.

"Like I am a lost adorable dragonet that you just want to squeeze the life out of?" Astraea muttered, very specifically.

"Thank you..." Frost whispered, looking away from her.

"No problem," Astraea smirked, "emo boy."

They all then continued to eat lunch, conversing with each other.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Frost laughed.

"What? Is it not normal to be forgotten at the beach?" Oren asked.

    "NO!" all of them yelled.

    "Astraea!" Oren whined.

"Don't look at me, I got lost with you..."

"Bro, where were your parents?" Wave asked.

The siblings then looked at each other before pondering.

    "Damn." Duck laughed.

"Bro got forgotten." Chili wheezed through her laughter.

"WAIT CHAT!" Chiffon yelled, dragging Crimson with them, "LET'S GO SHOPPING!"

    "Wha- okay." Crimson shrugged.

Eventually, everyone agreed. Soon, they were at a large cave with many compartments where dragons were selling stuff.

"What is this place called?" Frost whispered.

"THIS IS THE MERCHANDISE AFFAIRS LUCKING LOCATION!" Chiffon yelled.

    "So MALL. Nice." Hornet sighed.

(DISCLAIMER: THIS SONG IS ACTUALLY KATY PERRY'S THE SONG NAME IS CALIFORNIA GURLS, I JUST MADE THE DRAGON VERSION)

"You'll be falling in love. Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh." Duck muttered.

"Below Dragonets, we're unforgettable." Astraea continued.

"We got drip and we're BETTER!" Chili snickered.

"Been alive longer than these dumbasses!" Duck sang, laughing.

    "Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh." Astraea cackled.

"Below DragonETS-" Chili squawked as she almost ran into another dragon.

    "Whatthefuckkk-" Wave questioned

Soon the group had wandered everywhere, with Chiffon and Crimson looking at neckbands and wrist cuffs while the rest marveled at weapons. At the end of it, it was the best day Frost had in a long time. Once they were back in their caves they all started teasing one another, and soon all of them were going off to bed. Frost was about to fall asleep when he heard a voice whispering: "Is anyone awake?"

"Yeah," he whispered back, sitting up to see Astraea who had climbed out of her hammock to talk to him. "Can't sleep?"

"I never really can." she yawned.

    "Yeah, me too."

"Just so you know." Astraea whispered, "I know you think you're a mistake and that you are useless, but you aren't. People always focus on Darkstalker and you know, his evil-ness. But they never talk about his younger sister, Whiteout. Sure she was a little messed up in the head, but she was intelligent, kind, and loving. I understand what you are going through, I mean not as bad but kind of, I am the oldest of six dragonets. I have always had to take care of my siblings and many crazy expectations have been required for me to 'set a good example for my siblings.' But I do it my way, show them how to be a good dragon instead of showing them a stereotypical dragon with their emotions all bottled up. Just know that your tribes don't define you... Goodnight Frost."

With that, she gave him a small smile in the dark before gracefully flying back to her hammock and falling asleep.

"No one's ever said that to me. Maybe my parents would have if they were still here. But that kind of affection? She does care, maybe she's the first one who did." Frost thought, blushing. "I guess I should show the same back to her. Love as some say." Frost slowly looked back at her before thinking: "I love you, Astraea." Then falling into a deep sleep.

Awhhh Young love <3
