"YAMOM COME home today right?" chass questioned nova as they laid on her bed. they'd been in bed all day after doing their morning routine since they decided not to go to school.
she nodded while continuing to watch tv. "i gotta tell you something." chass whispered, gaining the undivided attention of nova. "go ahead." nova motioned for her to continue talking.
"i had a dream." chass gave her no details while smiling. "about what and who?" nova turned on her side to look at chass. "you will never guess... like it's bad too." she beat around the bush.
"bro."
"alright, it was about dudey and we were... ya' know and i feel so bad because i liked it, i like all that aggressive shit he does." chass blurted out causing nova's jaw to drop.
"oh my god, that's why you were humming in your sleep." she tucked in her lips.
"i thought you hated him." nova shockingly gasped and covered her mouth. "i do!" chass' voice went up a pitch.
"or maybe you like him and you're trying to cover it up." nova conspired against her with raised eyebrows. "maybe... but i love chris to death." chass honestly expressed with a frown.
"don't let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband." nova booped her nose while laughing. "stop encouraging me!" chass kicked her feet in the air.
"you might be attracted to him but your feelings could be temporary, think about how acting on your feelings could affect your current relationships and friendships." nova shrugged, attempting to give her good advice.
"it's not cheating if i have a crush on someone else... right?" chass tapped her thigh while thinking. "it might be... i honestly don't think so as long as you don't act on your feelings." nova replied and sat up.
