*Third Person POV*
Paper school had just opened once again for this school year. New kids rushing in and making friends, old kids meeting up with their buddies, and the office crowding with a bunch of Highschool students, trying to get first in line for their schedules.
Oliver, the school bully, cut to the front to get his schedule and headed over to a nice empty corner to meet with his two best buds, Zip and Edward. He was in his final year, his senior year, while Zip and Edward were only in their sophomore year. (YES- Ik Oliver and Alice have studied at University before but this is just an AU so the ages are just IDK😭)
As he went over, he playfully elbowed Zip. He had known Zip for a while now and saw her as a little sister, though they only met Edward last year but he's still a cool dude.
They began to chit chat and Yap about schedules until Oliver decided to bring up an important topic for them.
"So.." Oliver began "Who do we wanna mainly target this year?"
Zip and Edward began scanning the room for a great target to bully this year. Zip jumped up, her dragon tail slightly swaying.
"What about that girl over there! The one with the goofy frilled tail thing!" She whisper-shouted, pointing directly at a small, shy looking girl.
Oliver chuckled "Yeah, she looks like an easy pick. Fucking baby. She looks like she's about to cry!"
The trio laughed to themselves as the bell rang. The all sighed as they'd have to separate into their different classes.
"Welp, bye, see ya bozos later!" Oliver began to walk off, Zip and Edward walking off the opposite way.
*Olivers First Person POV*
I trudged my feet through the long, crowded hallways. I quietly groaned as I stared at my stupid schedule.
'Who wants to start with math first thing in the morning?! Bullshit!' I thought to myself, slightly gripping this dumb paper.
I was bored and decided to trip a few kids along the halls for some shits and giggles. It all felt different though, like somethings missing. I had Zip and Ed, I was great at bullying and I aced every worksheet I was given! What could I be missing.
I looked around, most the other kids my age had others in their life, like boyfriends or girlfriends. Maybe that's what I felt I was missing? No, I'm fine alone! I think?
I Just sighed and got to my class, sitting in a random seat as Miss Circle began her Yapping. I leaned my head against my palm and dozed off, thinking about things I could do this year. I never really do much besides bully kids now that I think about it.
'I'm a big douchbag but whatever...' I muttered in my brain. My thoughts were.. different from what they usually are. What's up with me? I just shrugged it off and doodled random things onto my desk, waiting for the next class. Honestly, waiting for this day to end.
*Alice Third Person POV*
She let out an annoyed groan. School was starting once again. She was praying someone would come in pretty quickly without knowing. She's been starving in this damn void all summer. She rubbed her aching back and sat in a corner.
"Sleeping on these damn floors suck.." She uttered to herself. This void sucked, nothing to do, no one to see. Not that she cared anyway, she can't trust anyone anyway.
She curled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. Her head rested against her knees and she sighed again, staring at her hands.
*Alice First Person POV*
I stared at my dirty, dried blood hands. I was a mess. My clothes were disheveled and old. My hair was a mess and I was covered in blood stains. I can't even remember how long I've been stuck in this damn torcher chamber. I'm so used to this dark hell hole that the smallest bright lights hurt my eyes.
"Why couldn't I just be normal." I growled to myself, aggressively shaking my head. I shot out a giant tentacle and slammed it into the wall. It did nothing of course, nothing ever did.
I sat there as hours passed, it was annoying hearing so many dumbass kids running around and screaming. I'd pace around my room at some point, only to find myself sitting back in the same dark, dusty corner.
Everything was going as usual, my room being avoided and me starving. It wouldn't kill me, I'm too strong for that. I'd hate to be seen as weak, so I just shove my emotions inside and down to the bottom of my probably black heart.
I heard the final bell ring and the halls that began to slowly empty out. Finally, I could be alone again. Highschool kids here are annoying.
"I thought they were at least a little more mature" I scoffed out, shaking my head. I was used to this lonely-ness by now. Sure, it sucks not having anyone to talk to sometimes, but I don't trust anyone enough to talk to them anyway.
I settled down in my corner, waiting for myself to hopefully drift off to sleep. Nothing would change, nothing will ever change for me. Everything was always the same... until we heard a sound that I haven't heard since I was a 'normal' little girl......

Heyo!! I'm your author Lemon! This chapter was kinda short but it's like- the prologue and I didn't really know how to start this. I'll definitely try to make longer chapters in the future. It may be hard to do since I might be busy but I'll get as much as i can out!! Now, before we get more into this, ima let you know some things!!
