The white screen of Death finally fades into the soft white glow of a ceiling light. Fordecai looks around to find himself in a hospital bed, his head and neck aching with pain.
Cai: Ow... Just what the hell happened?
He then hears the same cold voice he heard before speaking from nowhere and everywhere at once.
System: You have tripped over your foot and died by snapping your neck on a table after rage quitting from your favorite game. I have simply brought you back to life in the anime world of My Hero Academia. Please do not tell anyone of my existence, instead describe me as a "Quirk." I am the Game System, but you may call me System. You have unlocked various powers/abilities.
A screen then opens before a second screen overlays the first, titled "Quirk" information
*Quirk Name: The System - Allows the user to live in the real world in a game-like setting. They possess many skills and abilities that don't follow the laws of physics or reality.
The screen then closes before a new screen opens titled 'Skill Window' *Current Skills unlocked: 7 - View unlocked skills to gain a better understanding of each skill.
Fordecai clicks on the first icon which had a man meditating.
*Gamer's Mind: Gamer's Mind allows the user to calmly and logically think things through and provides peace of mind. Also has immunity against mental disorders and mind-manipulating Quirks.
Cai: Well, that's nice.
He then proceeds to click on each skill learning more about them before his thoughts are interrupted by a feminine voice.
???: Cai, you're awake!

System: This is Sarah Soul, your best friend who you had saved from a villain.
Cai: Sarah?
Sarah: *Giggles* Glad you remember. How are you?
Cai: Like my neck was snapped.
Sarah: You were close to it. Do you remember what happened?
Cai: Enlighten me.
Sarah: You fought off the villain who tried to kidnap me. You were incredible! *Eyes glow with admiration* The way you danced around him and delivered that uppercut, was badass! *She then throws an uppercut* you even shouted strong hit with the uppercut. That must've crushed the villain's jaw, that ought to teach him to go after pretty girls like me. *Laughs, her smile infectious*
Cai: I'm glad you found the fight cool, but how did I go from fighting the villain to here?
Sarah: *She starts to snicker* You tripped over your foot and knocked yourself out! *Starts laughing harder*
Cai: Wow, thanks for the support *He chuckles and rolls his eyes* So, when can I leave?
Sarah: I just got done talking to the Dr. He said that you can leave as soon as you wake up and do some tests.
