TW: GUNSHOTS, DEATH, MENTION OF DEATH, MENTION OF MEDICINE.
A rustling and running sound can be heard from behind the wolves, as a hunter and 2 hunting dogs emerged from the bush.
All the wolves got in a fighting stance, snarling and snapping at the hunter. Raindropbelly tackled the first hunting dog while DogwoodYelp tackled the second. It was up to Addersnap to beat the hunter.
The hunter raised his gun, pointing it at DogwoodYelp, Addersnap jumped at the hunter, but not in time. The gun fired and shot DogwoodYelp in the throat, the wolf dropped cold and the hunting dog got up and tackled Addersnap.
"ACK! GET OFF YOU MUTT!" Addersnap snarled, biting the hunting dogs face, eventually knocking them off and pinning them. "YOU AND YOUR STUPID OWNER ARE GOING TO PAY FOR KILLING MY FRIEND!" He snapped, tears in eyes.
Addersnap did a few quick bites to the dogs throat before getting shot in the flank by the hunter, he stumbled to the ground, regaining his ground shakily and attacking the dog again.
Raindropbelly quickly killed the hunting dog and did a suprise attack on the hunter, pinning them, her Jaws were locked on their throat. She bit down and ended the hunter, rushing to help Addersnap with his wound as the last hunting dog ran away.
"ARE YOU OK? WE HAVE TO GET YOU BACK TO CAMP.. AND.. AND.. TELL THE LEADER ABOUT DOGWOOD!" She panicked, nuzzling Addersnap to his paws and pushing to the camp in a rush.
Raindropbelly and Addersnap made it back to camp
"SalamanderStar! SalamanderStar!" Raindropbelly yelped, still pushing Addersnap towards the medicine den. "What happend!" The medicine wolf barked, quickly getting to Addersnaps aid while listening to Raindropbelly's explanation. "Oh dear.. He will be fine..! I'll do my best, alright?" The medicine wolf barks soothingly, Raindropbelly nods.
*idk what else for this chapter so we just skipping a few weeks! I'll continue this to chapter 3! It might be out in a few days!*
