8 YEAR OLD KAGAMI RIN was resting on the couch with her mother after their training session.
Her dad and sister were out somewhere probably getting ice cream. She would be a little bummed out if they were though.
Her head was resting in her moms lap while she was stroking her hair gently with her claws
Her mothers quirk was Black cat while her dad was quirkless.
The strange thing was, is that Kagami inherited her mothers quirk, but also a lightning quirk. Her family had no clue where that quirk came from, it's something they're still trying to figure out to this day.
Sadly her sister took after her dad and also became quirkless. Ever since they both figured out Kagami had a quirk and Mana didn't, they grew distant.
Kagami always tried talking to her, but was met with the cold shoulder or a glare.
Snapping out of her daze, there was a knock at the door.
Bolting up from where she was laying down she ran to open the door for her sissy and dad.
She knew it was them because her family decided to create a code knock to let them know it was them.
You knock twice than wait 3 seconds than knock two more times, it was not much but it was something she held dear to her heart.
Throwing the door open she didn't even get to greet her sister before she roughly shoved her with her shoulder and walked past her.
That dampened Kagamis mood significantly but atleast she still had her dad to greet right?

She turned to greet her dad and noticed the ice cream in his hand.
"Hi papa!! How was it? Do i get ice cream too!?"
She saw her dad barely even glance at her before he said a gruff "No." and also walked right past her.
With a frown on her face she stared at her dads back as he walked away with small tears in her eyes.
