Pixane one shots!

Nindroids can joke!? Part 1

Idea I had about Pixal and Zane being ultimate pranksters because no one expects it out of them
I also just wanna say, this idea came from hearing the song NEVER MET(ft.GlitchGum) by CMTEN. Just in case

Zane's POV:
I was stood in the kitchen making breakfast and listening to my brothers argue about a controller when Pixal walked in.
"Hey Pixal?"
"Yes Zane?"
"May I speak with you? Privately?"
"Of course Zane, you can talk to me about anything." She seemed confused as I finished cooking but followed me when I walked into the hallway.
"So what did you need to talk about?"
"I have had a very peculiar idea and I would appreciate your opinion."
"Oh. Of course. What is it?"
"I had an idea of a joke we could play on the rest of the crew. A prank I think Jay called it."
Although seemingly confused she still replied
"What is this 'prank' idea you've had?"
"I believe we could stage an argument in our rel-"
"We don't argue?"
"Please let me finish. We stage an argument in our relationship and pretend to break up to see how long we can fool our team."
Maybe this was a bad idea.
"That does seem like quite the prank. Perhaps it's a little much though? I don't have a problem with it but I feel as though it puts a target on our backs."
"I'm sor- wait what?"
"I believe it's a good idea but it may make our team want revenge in some way."
"Eh, what's a little bucket of water on the head when we can get them back for not doing their chores?"
I still spoke cautiously hoping she wouldn't back out.
"I suppose you're correct, but what do we do to start?"
"Okay so..."

3 hours later

No one's POV:
Lloyd was sitting reading a newspaper with the title "Ninjagos most perfect couple" and a picture of Pixal and Zane pasted across the front cover.

Everyone was kind of sitting in silence until Jay apparently decided it was enough.
"Don't you guys think Pixal and Zane have been quiet today? I mean, they haven't even been in to tell us to get up off our lazy butts and clean."
Kai butted in "Hey, master of blabber is right! I haven't seen either of them all day!"

With Pixal and Zane:
"Alright just remember any negative stuff we say doesn't mean anything. But you know I'm gonna apologize after this anyways."
"Of course you will."
"Are you ready?"
"Time for payback."

Back with the ninja:
"Well I think they went out for ice cream!"
"Um, no, they obviously just went down to the hanger, they are too boring for ice cream dates."
The argument about the couples whereabouts ceased when yelling was heard from the courtyard.
All the ninja and Master Wu immediately ran out expecting danger but were surprised to discover Ninjagos most perfect couple yelling at each other.
"Oh my FSM! You just can't get it through your head, can you?! Your idea is completely ridiculous and irrational!"
Pixal never thought the day would come that she would be yelling at Zane, much less that it would be for a prank.
"If you would just stop talking and listen to me, you would understand how dumb your opposition sounds in regards to my claim! My idea is not ridiculous and makes total sense!"
"You're just not getting it! Remember all these years it's always been you asking me for help! It was always 'Pixal this' or 'Pixal that' but now, of all times my opinion suddenly means nothing?"
"You are saying that like you believe being around me is an inconvenience!"
"Maybe it is!!"
From the ninjas perspective, Zane appeared taken aback and quickly responds with
"Maybe we never should have met in the first place! Maybe we shouldn't even be together if I'm such an inconvenience to you!"
Pixal had put on her best acting skills and began to fake cry while Zane appeared to be shocked by his own words.
"Maybe we shouldn't..."
Pixal stormed off to her room as Zane also began to cry.
Lloyd was very confused by the situation in front of him. Especially when you took into consideration the newspaper still clenched in his left hand.
"What just happened?"
"Ninjagos most perfect couple is no longer a couple I guess"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GUESS?! I CANT LOSE MY OTP!!"
"Jay, why is Jaya not your OTP?"
"So Nya, what I meant was... I gotta run"
🏃 🏃
"Are you gonna chase him?"
"He'll tire himself out and we have more pressing problems."
"A breakup wake up call"
