### Chapter 5: The Unwelcome Visitor

Yoongi moved with supernatural speed through the city, his movements so swift and silent that no one noticed him. Cradling Taehyung in a bridal style, he navigated the darkened streets and arrived at the alpha’s house. With a careful, practiced touch, Yoongi settled Taehyung onto his bed, taking care to ensure he was comfortable. The vampire’s expression was a mixture of regret and determination; he had intended to apologize and make things right, despite the boundaries he had crossed.

As the first light of dawn began to seep through the curtains, Taehyung stirred, waking up groggily in his own bed. His arm throbbed slightly, but the pain was dulled by the bandage wrapped around the wound. His eyes fell upon a note beside the bedside lamp. The note was simple, scrawled in an elegant script: “Sorry 😔🦷”. The sad emoji with fangs made Taehyung’s anger flicker momentarily.

The sight of the note was infuriating; how could Yoongi think a mere apology would make up for everything? Taehyung's heart raced with frustration, but beneath the surface, he couldn’t deny a tinge of amusement at the vampire’s attempt to be cute. He crumpled the note in his hand, his anger still simmering but slightly softened by the unexpected tenderness.

Determined to put an end to this complication, Taehyung resolved to never see Yoongi again. He believed that cutting ties would help him regain control over his emotions. Yet, as the days passed, Taehyung’s resolve began to waver. He found himself feeling unusually down, a persistent sadness settling in despite his efforts to stay busy and distract himself.

Seokjin, Taehyung’s closest friend, noticed the change in his demeanor. Concern etched on his face, he approached Taehyung one afternoon. “Hey, what’s been going on with you lately? You’ve seemed off,” Seokjin asked, his tone gentle but probing.

Taehyung, unable to mask his frustration, snapped, “I’m fine! Just leave me alone.” The harshness in his voice surprised even him. Realizing his outburst was unfair, he quickly softened. “Sorry, Jin. I didn’t mean that. I’m just… I don’t know. I’ve been dealing with some things.”

Seokjin accepted the apology with a nod, though he remained concerned. “If you need to talk, I’m here. Just know that you don’t have to go through things alone.”

That night, after a long, hot shower meant to wash away his frustrations, Taehyung emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a towel. He was still lost in thought when he entered his bedroom. To his shock, he found Yoongi sitting on the edge of his bed, his expression filled with an earnest remorse.

Taehyung’s emotions surged—anger, confusion, and a strange sense of relief all coalesced into a storm within him. “What are you doing here?” Taehyung demanded, his voice a mix of fury and incredulity. His eyes narrowed, and his fists clenched at his sides.

Yoongi stood slowly, his gaze meeting Taehyung’s with a mix of regret and determination. “I came to apologize in person,” he said quietly. “I felt guilty about what happened and wanted to make amends. I’m sorry for everything.”

Before Yoongi could leave, Taehyung moved with sudden purpose. He strode towards the vampire, his expression darkening with intensity. In a swift motion, he pressed Yoongi against the wall, his strength evident in the force of the action. The proximity was electric, and the air between them crackled with unresolved tension.

Yoongi’s eyes widened in surprise and a hint of fear, but he met Taehyung’s gaze steadily.

Taehyung leaned in, his voice a whisper against Yoongi’s ear. “You made a mistake,” he murmured, his breath warm against the vampire’s skin. “You can’t just waltz back in here and expect everything to be fine.”

Yoongi’s breath hitched, his body trembling slightly at the closeness and the weight of Taehyung’s words. He had come to apologize, but the alpha’s reaction was far more intense than he had anticipated.

Taehyung’s grip on Yoongi’s shoulders was firm but not harsh, his eyes locked onto the vampire’s with an intensity that conveyed the depth of his mixed feelings. “You should leave,” Taehyung said softly, though his voice was laced with an undertone of longing he struggled to suppress.
