I ran for my life, my feet pounding against the earth.
I could hear the shouting behind me, feel the hatred that had hunted me for six months.
I'd hidden for four years with the humans who I was raised by and with.
But now.....now they knew what I really was .... They hated and hunted me.
A sob fell out of me, smelling I'd crossed a forbidden area.
I didn't know much about Werewolves, but I'd learnt how to smell Pack lands and learned small things.
The main thing was - Never enter a Pack territory without permission. Especially if you're a 'Rouge' Werewolf. Something they called the Wolves who didn't have a Pack.
Human raised like me.
But ...I couldn't stop.
I could hear the anger and gunfire that aimed for me.
I screamed, dodging as they fired.
"What was that?" I heard an unfamiliar voice growl, something about it making me fall silent as I ran.
A scent hit me, my head snapping around to find it as I ran through a large bush. It was strong.....powerful...
Fuck!
I suddenly collided with a solid wall of muscle.
I fell hard, dazed and disoriented, and looked up from the ground.
I saw piercing light blue eyes staring back at me.
He was beautiful, with a sharp jawline, marked with what I knew as a Lycan tattoo of an Alpha across his cheek, short black hair and a tattoo down his muscular left arm.
I scrambled back, a noise of fear ripping from me.
Alphas killed Rogues.
"What the-" he growled in deep voice that made me shiver. He went to reach for me and I coward into a ball, whimpering in submission instead of saying anything. He stopped and stared at me intensely, inhaling.
I held my breath, unsure if he intended to kill me or-
"Hey!" A human voice I knew shouted, making my eyes snap to the tree lines, seeing the group of human hunters - one of them pointing their gun at me.
He fired, making me scream and react quickly, trying to move away from the intense man.
The bullet barely missed me, bouncing in the spot I'd been laying, the smell of silver in the air.
The Alpha's eyes flashed with anger, smelling the toxic scent and he snarled at them, canines extending and talons bared.
The humans backed up a step, shouting in surprise and calling him a monster.
I flinched at the word, a small cry leaving me.
The Wolf hesitated, his eyes glancing to me and he moved, crouching in front of me.... to protect me.
I sobbed. "Thank you. I'm sorry-"
Another figure appeared, grabbing a hold of me and scooping me up in their arms, hearing him shout. "I've got her, Jaxon. Go!"
The man charged, attacking and dodging the gun fire with ease.
I struggled, but the other man held me tight.
"Don't worry, I've got you." He hushed. He looked almost identical to the other man, but his hair longer, bound back with a tie and his eyes more grey, another Alpha tattoo marking his perfect tanned cheek. I ducked his eyes when he looked at me, hearing him inhale.
He suddenly held me closer, limiting my movements and overpowering me easily, he took a sharp inhale of my scent again, his heart thrumming loudly against me.
I wanted to run. To escape. But the Alpha seemed intent to keep me close.
The shorter haired one fought and I saw blood, curling into the one who held me shaking and crying.
His chest vibrated with a growl, making sob fearful.
It stopped suddenly, his hands tightening. "I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice like gravel. I froze, something in me singing like electricity at his voice.
The first stranger returned, his chest heaving as he relaxed his form, he pulled his blood soaked shirt off, wiping his hands and tossed it as he strode forward. "Jace, give me my mate." He growled, reaching for me.
"No, Jaxon." The second stranger backed up a step, holding me tighter, his eyes locked with mine before I could look at Jaxon. I saw a spark of recognition, feeling a swell of emotions flood me; his touch was suddenly tight, possessive.
I felt the twist in my stomach, something aching and my fire ignited with fire.
I groaned in pain and need, turning into his chest and gripped him, filled with a fire only his touch seemed soothed.
"W-what's happening." I shuddered against him in a whimper, his shirt fisted in my hands.
Jace's nose pressed against my ear. "Mine." He breathed, his hands caressing my skin gently, I sighed against him, the ache and pain mixing and I shuddered again.
"Fuck off. She's-" Jaxon's snarl was cut on as I looked at him finally
The fire intensified and I whimpered, overwhelmed with emotions again.
He growled. "Mine."
I shook, my mind spinning and my body writhed against Jace, whimpering and gasping as his hands tried to move, soothing me. I struggled, arching towards Jaxon like a magnet being pulled.
"She's our mate," Jace whispered.
Jaxon's eyes widened, he stepped closer and reached out, touching my face. His large hand cupped the side of my cheek with ease, a whimper leaving me at his touch.
"Impossible." He breath, his eyes snapping to Jace. "We share a mate?" His eyes narrowed as they returned to, feeling the same sparks I did as I whimpered, nuzzling into his hand weakly.
Their touches soothed the fire inside, but my legs tightened, my core aching.
I groaned, arching slightly and pressed into both of them as best I could, my only relief. "Please, help." I whimpered, trying to be loud enough they could hear me.
Jace nodded. "We will." He handed me to Jaxon, my arms curling around his neck and he sighed, contently as I fit into his large arms and squeezed me, tenderly.
"Are you okay?" Jaxon asked in a whisper against me, his voice rough with emotion as he inhaled my scent, smelling for blood.
"Pain." I whimpered.
Jaxon pressed me further in to hold. "We're sorry,"
I arched in pain, his arms anchoring me against him. "Why?" I sobbed.
"It's your Heat, baby." His voice was pained. I didn't understand, only that his touch was soothing my pain.
Jace pressed against the exposed side of me and I sighed, his warmth and touch easing my pain.
"What's your name, baby girl?" He nuzzled into my cheek, his hand stroking my arm and his unsettled breathing matching my own as he inhaled my scent, even covered in a layer of dirt - I could smell my own arousal.
Jaxon dipped his head, pressing his nose into the side of my neck.
A low rumbled started in his chest, primal and lustful.
I pressed my neck against his nose, moving my cheek to nuzzle Jace as I answered. "Melody Chance." I sighed, wanting to pull them closer.
"Melody." Jaxon raised his head, giving me a small smile.
Jace stroked my hair with a loving pat, making me arch and whimper as their touches pushed the ache in my core to pulse. "Ugh!" I cried, my skin on fire and my clothing suffocating me.
Jaxon's hands tightened on me. "We need to get her out of scent range." He growled, tucking me easily into his muscular chest.
Jace nodded once, seeming to have stopped breathing. "She smells so strong."
Another rumble vibrated as I nuzzled into Jaxon, feeling him move. "Baby, don't." He said through gritted teeth.
I whimpered, hating he wanted me to stop. I needed his touch, his love.
His reject hurt, stinging my heart like a lash of a whip.
His hands squeezed me gently, almost like he was trying to reassure me.
Jace chuckled, "Let's get our Melody to the den, clean her up, and out of danger." My heart soared, thrumming loudly and they both smirked at me as they heard it, making me blush.
Jaxon nodded then, pulling me against him as they started to head further into the Pack territory.
They moved towards the mountains, scaling a incline with ease and coming to a flat hill that overlooked lights below.
It looked like a small town, with apartments, shops and a quaint neighbourhood near the forest.
It was near midnight, the moon high and lighting the way with a silver glow.
I watched curiously through my pained daze as Jace jogged ahead, going to a large stone that took up one side of the hill.
He pulled open a door, making my eyes widen in surprise as it folded out of the stone seamlessly, I hadn't even noticed it wasn't rock.
Jace smiled. "This is our den." He stated, letting Jaxon in first.
The den was stone and wooden, like a grand house, built into the mountain with a large thick front door.
Filled with their scents that mingled and combined perfectly, my mouth watered and I barely had the ability to see, turning into Jaxon as I squirmed and moaned.
"Take her to mine." Jace said, his voice commanding and I shudder hearing it, feeling the strong presence of him.
Jaxon growled in annoyance and possession, but followed Jace upstairs to, what I assumed, was his bedroom.
A spacious stone and carpet sanctuary with a massive four poster bed from fairytales, and a warm fire crackling in the corner.
Jaxon set me gently on my feet, his hands staying on me as he held me steady.
"Why were you being hunted, Melody?" He asked, his voice gentle and his near silver eyes shining with the firelight.
He was beautiful.
I hesitated, unsure how they would react.
But the feeling of recognition and safety pulsed, putting at me ease, while my pains grew worse.
I groaned as my knees knocked together and I fell into Jaxon.
He caught me, a second pair of hands grabbing my waist and Jace pressed behind me.
"Melody." He whispered, his voice low wth worry.
I leaned into their strong arms, letting them support me and hold me, their hands stroking away the fires that wanted to consume me.
"T-the pain-" I panted. Jaxon started to massage my skin across my stomach, making me sigh with relief.
"It's your Heat," he said again.
"I was adopted," I whimpered in admission. "I didn't know I was a werewolf until I turned eighteen. I hid it from everyone...then I touched silver by accident one day and my neighbour saw it...." I panted, gritting pain and sadness, going to wipe my tears when Jaxon reached up with the end of his shirt, wiping the tears dirt. I gave a meek smile in thanks. "He was a local pastor and thought I was the devil." I sniffled again, feeling pathetic as my emotions forced their way to the surface. I'd survived for four years without an accident.
Then a stupid mistake nearly cost me my life.
Made even the people who raised me, my parents - hate me.
Jace tensed behind me, his claws extending and grazing my skin, pulling me from my thoughts. "Stupid humans." He growled. "They are forbidden here."
Jaxon nodded, his eyes burning with possessiveness as he cupped my cheek. "No one will touch our mate." He promised, making me smile slightly.
"Our mate?" I repeated, breathless, pressing back against Jace as his hands squeezed my hips.
"Yes, little one." Jace rumbled, my body shaking as his hand pressed against my stomach, pulling me against him more.
My heart raced, the pain dulling for a moment as they held me tightly.
"We're you're soulmates." Jace said in a low voice, his hands roaming my skin, squeezing and massaging it. "You're feeling the Heat," Jaxon pressed into the front of me, making me whimper and smirked pointedly.
"It's set off when a female werewolf finds her mate," Jaxon continued, Jace kissing my neck and the pains shuddered to a hum as my eyes fluttered. "To encourage our mating and marking." He inhaled, his eyes closing as his head tilted back. "I've never smelt a Heat so strong." His silver eyes were dark when they met my green ones. "It's maddening."
I moaned as his hands squeezed my hips, Jace's mouth moving against my neck.
I needed them. Both of them.
Jaxon stroked my cheek, his eyes searching mine. "You're ours, shared and loved." He promised, making me whimper and tears welled in my eyes.
He took a slow step back, showing me he wasnt leaving, but wanted to look over me.
I hesitantly released him, letting him see me.
Jace kept a hold of me, comforting me and soothing the aching as his hands moved, one pushing my dirt clumped copper hair from my face, the other holding my waist reassuringly.
I felt nervous as Jaxon's eyes scanned my ragged clothing, covered with dirt, blood and grime, a disapproving frown on his face that me shake with worry.
I ducked my eyes and wrapped my arms around myself.
"I-I've been running for months." I whimpered, unable to stop the pain in my voice at the thought of either of them finding me unattractive. I needed their approval, I don't know why.
Jaxon's hands cupped my cheeks, warm and soft as he guided my face up, his expression relaxed, almost regretful.
"You're safe, Melody." He said softly, his thumb stroking my cheek, the dirt cracking and crumbling under his touch.
"Come have a shower, baby girl" Jace encouraged, stepping back enough, keeping his hand on my back. "You'll feel better." He guided me to a doorway, a luxurious bathroom spread out in marble and brass.
There were personal touches of Jace's, making me feel like I was invading, despite the fact I wanted to explore every part of the house.
I hesitated when they both stepped into the bathroom with me, shy and self-conscious under the dirt and grime. "I-it's okay, I can bathe alone." I squeaked, looking down.
Jace chuckled, warm and loving, taking my hand with the lightest hold. "Come here, little one." He pulled me behind him, leading me further into a large bathroom, to the waterfall shower, only seperated from the room by clear glass.
I blushed as Jace opened the glass door and turned on the water, his hand under the stream to test it. "Undress, baby, we can clean those if they're okay." He gestured lightly to my ruined clothes.
I hesitated again.
Jace tilted his head curiously. "What is it?" He asked caringly.
My hands tightened around me. "I don't want to..." I ducked my eyes, feeling stupid. "Disappoint either of you." I was somewhat small, even when not malnourished.
Jaxon pressed behind me, making me gasp softly at his strong, warm strength against me. His voice was low and seductive. "Oh, Melody. You could never disappoint us. We want to see you, dirty, clean..." he grasped my hips, feeling the peak of skin exposed by my tattered tshirt. "Any way you'll give to us."
I shuddered as his hands moved, going to the button on my shredded pants. He stopped, noticing my hesitation. "We'll keep your clothes on, for now." He breathed.
I blushed, not expecting the restraint but, being thrilled by his hint, wanting to see me naked.
It excited and scared me.
My Heat pulsed, my stomach tightening almost painfully and I gritted my teeth as my knees buckled, Jaxon's hands moving to steady me.
"Shh, baby," he hushed, his hands roaming across my stomach, hips and ribs, putting out the fires. "Soon, I promise." His voice strained.
"Jaxon," I whimpered as he pushed me away from him towards Jace, not wanting him to let me go.
"Shower, it should help." Jaxon grumbled. My eyes locked with Jace's and my Heart flared between my legs.
He reached out for me, watching me with lustful gaze. I immediately reached back, needing to feel his touch.
He smirked, taking my hand and I stepped into the shower, feeling their eyes on me.
The waters stream was the perfect temperature, the moment it touched my hand, I sighed and stepped under the water.
I'd forgotten what a hot shower had felt like.
It cascaded through my hair, collecting as it dissolved the muck and I tried to aid it with a shaking hands.
It felt it wash away the layers of dirt, stinging slightly in some areas of fresh wounds and my skin shivered, like it was sighing in relief at being clean for the first time in months.
Jaxon stepped into the shower behind me, his spice and smoke scent filling the steam alerting me to him and I shuddered, stepping out of the water just enough until his hands touched me, stopping me.
"We need you just as much." He purred, moving behind me and then started massaging shampoo into my hair. "Need to care and touch you."
I felt a shy moan escape my lips as he tenderly cleaned my hair. "Really?" I whimpered, enjoying the feeling of his strong fingers moving against my scalp. I sighed at his touch.
"Your scent drives our Wolves crazy, demanding we fuck you right now," he whispered, leaning down with his breath caressing my ear. "Mate with you."
I moaned. "Oh," I breathed.
"I also didn't want to waste water." His voice tinged with teasing that excited me, like I knew he was lying just so he could touch me.
A small giggle left me and he turned me, wrapping a hand around my waist and dipped my hair back into the water.
He rinsed and then conditioned my hair, staring down at me with loving eyes while I looked at him through my wet lashed, blushing as he cared for me.
His fingers traced down my spin as he let me go, sending shivers down my body. I leaned into his hands as they slid around my waist, pulling me back against his chest and lifting my wet shirt above my stomach.
His nose buried into the crook of my neck. "You smell so good," he breathed in a shuddered voice over the water. "Like vanilla and roses." He growled then as I moaned, his nose running against my skin.
His lips brushed against my ear, his voice low and husky as he stepped back, pulling us just out of the waters stream.
"I want to taste you, Melody." His words sendt a flutter through my chest and tightened my thighs.
I turned my head, our eyes meeting. His gaze burned with desire beyond his control, but also kindness.
"Okay," I whispered, my heart racing.
Jaxon's lips met mine, soft and slow at first, then deepening into a passionate kiss. I felt myself melting into his embrace, our hearts beating as one as I turned in his arms.
He pulled back, growling slightly and his teeth gritted. "Your scent is getting stronger."
Jace's voice echoed from outside the shower, "We should called Akira." He went silent for a moment then his voice came again. "Would you like to wear our clothes?"
My heart skipped a beat at the thought.
Jaxon smirked at me as I started undressing in the shower, taking my clothes to Jace.
I washed my skin properly, hearing the lustful snarls around me that made me me want to turn.
I kept my body to the corner, hiding it slightly from them both.
"Shy little one." I turned, seeing Jaxon's eyes burned with hunger as he gazed at me, smirking.
I swallowed, turning further and lowered my arms to let him see me.
He grabbed me then, pulling me against him and one of his hand trailing down my ribs and hips.
"You're perfect," he whispered, his voice husky. I whimpered, pressing against him, hating he still wore clothing.
My head tilted back.
"Baby, don't." He growled, the same way he had earlier.
I blushed, realising it wasn't a rejection. His nose pressed against my throat, making me gasp in surprise and I grabbed his shirt. "You're driving me crazy. If you're not careful, I'll fuck you right here."
I moaned, unable to stop myself as I pressed into him, a flood warning between my thighs.
A low growl filled the shower, a sweet smell....my smell...broke some of his restraint.
He pressed me against the shower wall, his lips covering mine, his tongue fighting mine.
His hands pinned me against him, one on my back and the other holding the back of my head.
I moaned, my body responding to his desire.
"Don't stop," I panted, my voice barely audible.
Jaxon's hand roamed my body, squeezing my waist, my hips and then moving to my ass, palming it as he growled at the feeling of my flesh, sending shivers down my spine.
As the water cascaded down us, Jaxon's kisses deepened, our hunger growing.
I'd never had much sexual experience, making me nervous and a little scared, but I wanted him, I wanted Jace.
I knew I was safe with them.
The shower shut off, Jaxon smirking at me as I squeaked.
"Go to Jace, baby girl." He nuzzled me, nudging me towards the shower door.
Jace smiled at me as I opened the door, seeing he had a pile of clothes waiting for me.
I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging I never expected.
I stepped out of the shower, a little breathless and my legs weak.
They buckled as Jace's eyes looked over my naked body, a small growl escaping him.
He caught me with a towel, wrapping me in its warmth.
He smiled at me. "Already falling for us, baby girl." He cooed.
I blushed, unable to deny it, searching his beautiful face for any uncertainty or rejection.
He leaned down.
His lips claimed mine, gentle yet possessive for a moment, only pulling away to dry me with tender care.
He dropped the towel when he deemed me dry, tugging me against him.
"More." He growled in need, kissing me desperately and stealing my breath.
Jaxon snarled, stepping out with only a towel around him.
Chiseled and tattooed, his hair slicked away from his face with wet strands across his face, his Alpha tattoo twisting across and down his cheek.
"She needs clothes." He growled at Jace.
Jace's hands pulled me against him, covering me with it arms and staring down at me with a smirk. "I'll keep her warm."
I blushed again, tightening my legs to stop the flood of excitement.
Jace inhaled, his smirk turning primal. "Oh, baby," he cooed, leaning to press his lips to my neck. "Do we excite you?" His voice was teasing, promising, enjoying the effect he was having over me.
I shuddered. My body flooded, my legs becoming soaked and I blushed, pulling away and covering my face with embarrassment.
"Stop teasing her!" Jaxon snapped as Jace smiled at me, his eyes looking over my legs as I squeezed them together, my hands falling to cover them instead with embarrassment.
Jaxon stepped in front of me, facing me and grabbed the clothing.
"I'll take care of you, baby." He promised, his hands tracing down my skin as he dressed me in their clothes of a large jumper and trackpants, exploring and soothing my body, but restraining himself.
I lent against the counter, my hands braced on the edge as he pulled the pants up my legs, the soft fabric over my sensitive area making me moan with pleasure.
Jaxon kissed me, cutting off my sound with a growl. "You're tempting the beasts in us." He warned.
I whimpered, apologetic, as I tilted to the side, giving his tongue access.
His hand wrapped my throat, almost like he was shielding it from himself.
I gave a small gasp, excitement bucking my hips forwards - his hand caught me, stopping me. "Baby." He growled in warning, his fingers twitching with restraint.
I wanted his hand lower, he wanted it too, but he pinned us both in place.
"I'll play with her." Jace offered over Jaxon's shoulder, earning a possessive growl from him instead. Jace chuckled.
Who's teasing now."
Jaxon released me, making me whimper from the loss of his warmth and love.
He snarled at Jace.
Jace smirked, crossing his arms and rose a dark eyebrow at him. "Unless you want us to breed her on the bathroom floor,"
I whimpered at his words, biting my lip at the thoughts they formed. Jace smirked at me, "I suggest we move rooms." He smiled at Jaxon, seeing the scowl but Jaxon nodded, heading for the doorway.
Jace turned his smile on me as I went to follow. His lips were suddenly on mine, pinning me between his body and the basin.
I moaned, his hands gripping my thighs and he pulled me up, wrapping me around his waist.
I latched onto him, my ankles locking and my hands tangled into his long silky hair.
"You feel so perfect." He breathed between kisses, squeezing my breast and ass, I moaned against him.
He moved to the bedroom. Jaxon snarling in warning.
Jaxon stepped behind me, the warmth of his body wrap around me with Jace's, covering me like a blanket.
Jaxon's hands grabbed and tightened around me, his voice low and husky as he tugged me away from Jace's lips. "Enough for now." He pulled me free of Jace's arms by the waist.
I whimpered at the loss of contact, almost fighting against Jaxon. "Don't make me tie you up, baby girl." He warned, making me freeze as he placed me on the floor, his hand on my stomach.
I bit my lip, my heart racing.
"What does that mean?" I asked, my voice barely audible.
Jaxon chuckled, guiding me on to the bed, letting me get under the warm covers and sit against the headboard. "You'll see, little one," he said, his eyes sparkling with desire. "If you misbehave." He teased, going to a closet in the other corner of the room.
Jace sat down next to me, our eyes locking and he was kissing me again, grabbing my legs and pulling under him, laying over me.
He grabbed my wrists with one hand when I tried to pull his shirt off him. "No, no, baby," he purred, holding my arms above my head. "That's misbehaving." He smirked and kissed me.
By the time he lifted his head to let me breath, Jaxon was kneeling on the bed next to me in a pair of loose sweatpants, something in his hands.
A soft black rope looped my wrists and then he knotted them to the bed expertly.
I whimpered in desire, feeling a rush of excitement at being restrained, tugging on it slightly to see they held my wrists above me tight enough I couldn't escape, but didn't harm me.
"I'll get you some food," Jaxon said huskily, kissing me a chaste kiss that made me whine before leaving me alone with Jace.
His hands trailed the exposed strip of my stomach between my waist band and belly button.
I shivered, my hips bucking up, trying to move his hand lower.
He pressed his hand flat into my stomach, pressing down and pinned me to the bed.
I whined at the feeling of his strength, easily overwhelming me and tried to fight against him.
I needed more of his touch, more of him.
"Please," I begged in a whimper. "It hurts."
"Calm, my beautiful mate." He hushed, leaning to press a kiss against my stomach. "I'll soothe you soon." He promised, his breath hot against my skin.
I gasped as his fingers slipped under the jumper, pushing it as he kissed up my body, stopping between my breast and inhaling my scent for a moment.
"Jace," I breathed, my legs bending to squeeze together and I pulled against the restraints on my wrists, finding no give.
He kissed me then, covering my mouth and pinning me down, his hand pressing across my legs and pushed them to the bed, flattening me.
I wanted to beg. I wanted to be fucked... mated.
I wanted to be theirs completely, my desire and need for my mates becoming a painful ache between my legs. The smell of my Heat filled the room as Jace leaned above me, his eyes dark as he scented the full strength of my desire and need for him.
"Please, Jace," I whispered, my body arching towards him and my eyes searching his face, darting between his panting perfectly lips and his stormy blue eyes.
They eyes burned with desire, his hands tracing the waistband of my pants. "We want to," he inhaled my scent again and growled. "Fuck. So badly.."
I whimpered at the gravel in his voice, his eyes suddenly pinning me with blown pupils and his hand stopped, twitching at my waistband.
The door slammed open, Jace looking towards it as I whimpered in fear, his expression stern as Jaxon returned with food.
Jaxon's voice was hard. "Akira said she can even smell it." He set a tray beside the bed, looking over me, seeing the soaked part of my pants before his eyes flicked to me.
Electricity ran through me under their gaze.
I wanted nothing more than to give in to them.
Jaxon sat down with a plate of food. "You'll eat, then meet our Pack doctor to help ease your pain" He smiled.
My body heated with fire and I whimpered, slightly struggling against my restraints and my legs clenched together.
"Shh, Melody. Eat, baby." Jace soothed, smirking at me opening my mouth as he grabbed a slice of a sandwich and held it out for me, smirking at my submission.
Jaxon stroked my hair, grabbing a towel and dried it before tying it up for me after brushing it. He kissed my cheek when I purred at him.
"Such a good little mate." He praised, making me smile at him as I took another bite from Jace.
