" NO. stay with me at least do that for once in your life " I couldn't take it anymore and dropped to my knees and started crying.
" lixie lixie …"
" lixie wake up … felix " a familiar voice said while gently tapping me
I woke up to see my mother shedding tears. She can be awfully dramatic, she probably thought I had gone to the afterlife to visit ' the ancestors ' ( reference to black panther )
" mom, you ok ?" I asked while tilting my head a bit.
" I should be asking you that, what happened did you have a bad dream you wanna talk about it ? it'll make you feel better if you do. " she said sitting right beside me .
This rarely happens my parents are really busy people, who don't have time for anything but their jobs . Once they forgot about my birthday and when they got home that night they both went to their rooms and let's just say that's why I had a younger sister.
Yeah, had my sister died when I was still 5 my parents told one of our house keepers to take her clothes shopping but they ended up getting stuck in the elevator and the shift dropped.
despite the fact that they both died my parents still sued the cleaners parents luckily the lost the case.
And THAT is my story ( yeah right, more crazy stuff ahead ✌).
" it's nothing mum I was just dreaming about school and yeah I didn't want to wake up " I lied well I didn't lie about not wanting to wake up and stuff .
" Ok . Your dad and I will be home late"
"not surprised " I mumbled to myself "what did you say ?"
" nothing I said bye, close the door on your way out " and then I used my blanket to cover my face turning so my back is facing her.
" Bye. I love you " she said walking out then stopped like she was waiting for a response. "yeah, sure bye"
"say it back " she demanded
" and if I don't " I said sitting back up again " I'll cut off your card " she threatened " I don't need it " yes I do
" Lee Yongbok Felix say it … NOW " if glares could kill then I would be a dead and gone by now.
" I love you mom, have a good day at work ".
" I'll …" she got interrupt by a buzzing sound coming from her pocket " I have to go now ".
