Meanwhile, back in the castle, after the designated time of arrival for Aurora had long since passed, Aro sent out Felix, Jane, and Alec to investigate. It didn't take long for them to discover the betrayal and figure out who was behind this: the Romanians. His rage was unlike anything any Volturi vampire had ever seen from him, his eyes blazing with fury. He immediately ordered Demetri to track Aurora's location. However, the Romanians had anticipated this move and had Vladimir blocking Demetri's tracking abilities.
Demetri's frustration was evident as he reported back. "I can't get a read on her location. Vladimir's blocking me."
Aro's eyes darkened with anger. "Find a way. I want her back. Now."
The Volturi Guard scrambled, searching for any means to break through Vladimir's defenses and searching around the city as well. Aro's mind raced as he tried to devise a plan to rescue Aurora. His fury was not just for the betrayal but for the potential loss of the one person who meant everything to him.

Days turned into weeks, and Aurora's fear began to give way to a numb resignation. She was moved repeatedly, her senses assaulted by new and disorienting experiences.
Inside the dark, cold cell, Aurora's body ached from the relentless torture she endured. Her mind was clouded with despair, every passing moment a reminder of her helplessness. The Romanian brothers, Vladimir and Stefan, along with Valea and Dakaria, who Aurora soon found out were the brothers' lovers, had shown her no mercy; their cruelty unyielding. Cuts, burns, and bruises marked her pale skin, each one proof of the horrors she had faced.
The Romanian brothers reveled in her suffering. They took turns inflicting pain, their methods growing increasingly brutal. Aurora's screams echoed through the halls of what she could only guess was an abandoned building, but no one ever came to her aid.
Her once hopeful spirit was now shattered, replaced by a deep, suffocating dread. The only thing that kept her going was the faint hope that Aro and the Volturi, which now included the Cullens, would find her. But as the days dragged on, even that hope began to fade.

In the Volturi castle, the atmosphere was tense. The realization of Aurora's abduction had set off a chain reaction, leading to preparations for an all-out war with the Volturi against the Romanians, after Demetri found a way around Vladimir's blocking gift and tracked Aurora's whereabouts.
Aro's rage was palpable, his eyes blazing with fury. "We will bring her back. And we will make them pay for this."
Caius's voice was cold and resolute, as he addressed the vampires before them in the throne room. "They will regret ever laying a hand on her."
Marcus, usually detached, was visibly angered. "They have crossed a line. This will not go unanswered."
The Cullens walked into the throne room, their expressions grim. Carlisle stepped forward, his voice filled with determination. "We'll do whatever it takes to get Aurora back."
Emmett's jaw was set in a hard line. "We owe her that much."
The battle plan was set. The Volturi and the Cullens would launch a coordinated attack, thanks to Caius, on the Romanian stronghold. It would be a fight to the death, but they were prepared to do whatever it took to rescue Aurora.
Reconnaissance and Intel Gathering
Demetri had infiltrated the area three days in advance. His reports on the stronghold's defenses, layout, and guard routines were crucial. The building was a labyrinth of stone corridors and fortified rooms.
