Chapter 1ne

Kim dan was coming out of his lecture hall he was beyond exhausted and was still lost in thoughts.he hanged his backpack on one shoulder.he'd worn a black rugged jean trouser on white sneakers and a black short sleeve buttoned down shirt with the two first buttons undone.

The thing about Dan was that he wasn't just cute and dazzling, he had this innocent aura that attracted people to him,that made both guys and ladies drool over him,even if he was just a kid of 18years no one would care less because he was just so intoxicating to the human eye.
Some sneaking photos of him but no one noticed the discomfort in his eyes

"Dan!"somebody yelled and crossed hand over his shoulder
"Hey, careful tender here"he retaliates to the force at which the hand landed on him,but still Kirin noticed a little sign of pain in his eyes.
"What's wrong?"
"...I hurt my shoulder"
"..how?"Kirin yelled knowing he was just lying,he always does this,either he got into a fight at his part time job or he stepped on his fathers toes again

".......I asked you how!"Kirin yells again after not getting a response.
".......it was my dad"
"As always"
"......hey, Kirin don't stress yourself out worrying about me ok?"
"Why shouldn't I?, your such a feeble little fella"
"Hey!,me?,feeble?,hah...I bet you, you won't survive a day in my house..... sorry,in that hell!"Dan yelled out in frustration
"....so then why still endure?,just separate yourself already"
"....and Ji ta?,......and mom?,I can't escape them Kirin believe me.....I've tried"

"......"

Kirin kept silent knowing Dan was right.
"Anyways,am running late,bye bye"
He ran ahead before he could hear what his friend had to say.

Kim Dan worked part time at a bar called SO HO,the bar was not very popular but there were a lot of rich people coming in everyday especially politicians,the bars VIP wards were always crowded due to the illegal activities going on.

The manager hired Dan mainly out of sympathy,he knew the reason Dan was eager for the job so helped him while maintaining a principal that he was not to serve VIP guests,no special services from him and most importantly his shift ends at 11:00pm sharp.

But today things were a little out of control,the bar was beyond just crowded,there was no room for air,the dance floor was filled with people dancing to the tunes of the DJ......Dan was like disgusted.

A bouncer from the V's section came up to Dan.
"Excuse me,my boss wants to talk to you"....Dan was not very astonished because he wasn't the first, normally they come up to him themselves but in this case the guy sent his sub?,who tha hell!?

"Am sorry,but my shift doesn't require me over the counter"Dan apologized not really feeling sorry.
"........doesn't matter,he wants to see you"
".....I can't,if you need any assistance there are other waiters available"
"....so are you refusing?"
"Am just telling you the bitter truth"

The guy kept quiet glaring at Dan awhile but Dan wasn't the least intimidated
"...my boss doesn't take no for an answer"
"Well I guess there's a first time for everything"Dan replied him
The guy wanted to say something else but at same pace somebody called Dan,they both turned to have seen the bar owner, the Duchess.
"What's the problem?"duchess asked noticing the guy had been bothering Dan
"...good day duchess"
The duchess recognised him to be one of the subordinates of the darks
Note:the darks are a notorious MAFIA gang who are feared in the entire city,just their names send shivers down their spines,a sub of any dark has a large scar running across the tip of their hair to the left side of their faces,it symbolized their ruthless nature.

Duchess wasn't really happy to know a dark was bothering Dan,cause that would literally mean his end.
"Am really sorry but he's off the clock,go on Dan"she said scurrying him out,Dan was beyond just confused not knowing the Duchess was literally saving his neck.she ushered him inside the staffs room.

Dan turned to ask what was the haps but before he could open his mouth to say anything duchess Interrupted him
"Look,change your things and leave through the back,your on leave for a week"
"  Buh?....."he still wanted to say something but she wasn't ready to listen she simply ushered him into the changing room.

Kim Dan came out the back door as instructed after changing into his black cargo on ash round neck and black denim jacket matching his black sneakers
He was going towards the main exit through the indoors parking lot when a gang crossed his path,he recognized the guy in front to the same guy who came to meet him in the counter
"... leaving early"he said to Dan
"...my shift is over"he replied playing along to what the duchess had said earlier
"....that means no store policies,my boss still wants to talk to you"
".....tell your damn boss to fuck off,I don't wanna talk to him"he said acting tough when he was as soft as muchmellow inside,but he wasn't gonna let them see that.
".....I don't think you have a choice you........"he still had a lot to say but somebody cuts him off
"That's enough"the guy said coming out the car beside them,it was only them Dan noticed the car beside them,he was too busy thinking of a way to escape the nightmare in front of him.

Unlike the other guys standing outside,this guy was dressed different,he wore a black rugged trouser on a black round neck and white jean jacket,he looked fierce,won't say very handsome but he wasn't bad,he had Raven Colour hair,a mountain high nose and a good physique.

The guy walked up to Dan with a cigarette in his hand
".....your playing hard to get"he uttered in a calm but deep voice, enough to send shivers down your spines.bit dan didn't careless he was disgusted by the way the guy kept staring at him head to toe,he didn't do anything but his eyes had already wandered through Dan like a hungry predator observing his prey.

".....if you have nothing to say please move?"
".... your in a rush"
"Not much but I don't have time to waste on useless things"he said without any ounce of fear
"....you have one heck of a loud mouth"
"No compliments should be reserved"
"......just what I like"he uttered biting his lower lip
Dan felt like punching a hole in his face but raise your hand first and your done for
"..... please move?"
He was still being persistent,he took a step closer to Dan then touched his face, without thinking Dan slapped him across the face hard.
"Don't you dare"Dan was so upset to think of the fact that they could pounce on him without much effort
Even it he had no fighting skills or enough strength,he wasn't gonna go down just like that

He could see the anger on the guy's face,he could devour Dan any moment
He held Dan's wrist tightly about dealing with him when a black car speeds into the parking lot almost hitting Dan who step forward closer to the guy bothering him
They all turned looking at the person who drove into their midst,Dan on the other hand just wanted to know who is the blind nigga on the wheels who almost ran him over

But then the person who came out was no nigga,he was wearing a black over coat on a black trouser and black buttoned down,he also wore a black Panama hat that made it hard to see his face
But it seemed everyone apart from Dan knew who he was because they all bowed their heads all the way making Kim Dan wonder,who it was that made the persistent tiger, humble himself to bow down
