The hand clamped down on Azra with a vice-like grip, pulling her deeper into the cold, dark water.

Panic surged through her, the weight of the water pressing in on her chest until she could no longer hold on. The last thing she felt before everything went black was the icy water filling her lungs.

When Alihan entered the basement, he immediately sensed something was wrong. The usual stillness was now laced with an eerie tension.

"Azra! Where are you?" His voice echoed off the walls as he frantically searched for her. There was no response, just a horrible silence that made his heart dread.

Then he saw her, lifeless and floating in the pool, her body limp and unmoving.

His heart froze, time seemed to stop.

"Azra!" he yelled, sprinting to the edge of the pool and diving in.

His despirate arms pulled her out of the water, his hands trembling as he laid her on the cold, hard tiles.

"Azra, wake up. Azra!" His voice broke as he began administering CPR, desperately trying to breathe life back into her.

Moments felt like an eternity until finally, Azra gasped, coughing up water as she regained consciousness. But her eyes were wild with terror, her voice trembling as she screamed, "Who... who are you?!"

Alihan's heart crumbled at the fear in her voice.

He grabbed her, holding her close, his voice soft but firm, "It's me, Azra. It's Alihan. breath.."

She clung to him, her body shaking with sobs, her tears soaking his skin. "Someone... someone was there," she stammered, her voice filled with terror. "They..... trie... tried to drown me..."

Alihan's jaw tightened, fury and protectiveness surging through him. "No one is here now. You're safe. I won't let anyone hurt you," he whispered, his hands cupping her face, forcing her to focus on him. "Breathe, Azra. Just breathe."

He barked orders to the guards, "Check all the footage. Now!"

With Azra still in his arms, he carried her out of the basement, holding her close as he took her to the bedroom.

Her body was still trembling, and the fear hadn’t left her eyes, but he kept his voice steady and calm, even as rage simmered just beneath the surface.

"See for yourself, Azra’s fall was an accident," Burak said, pointing to the footage.

Alihan watched, his face darkening as he saw Azra's leg slip on the wet tiles. She lost her balance and fell into the pool, struggling in the dark water.
