Marriage proposal

It's been 3 years of her Divorce, she have been through a lot and currently she is living with her parents in Delhi.

Her POV

I woke in the morning due to sun light hitting my face

I woke up and sat on my bed wiping my sweat thinking about the nightmare I always have

I recap all the things that my ex husband has done to me and how he cheated me and why he married me

Coming out of my thoughts I looked at the clock and as I thought I am late

I hurriedly got up and went to washroom and came out after 15 minutes

I stood infront of my mirror looking at my bandages and bruises which I still on me

I smiled to myself to start a new day full with relative's taunts and disrespect

To be honest, sometimes I think if it was my fault and because of that I have tried to harm myself but unfortunately my parents take me to hospital and I got saved

Thinking all this I went downstairs where my mom and dad was sitting in the couch laughing and teasing each other

I looked at them and smiled eventually

I went to my mom and dad and hugged them, they hug me back

"Maa, Papa, I am going to office bye bye and take care ok?" I said to my mom and dad who loves me more than anything

"But your breakfast" my mom said, she cares for me so much

"I am late maa, I'll have something in office" I said defending myself

"Take care beta" my dad shouted from behind

"Bye maa, bye papa" I shouted back to my parents and left to office

In the home

Her mom came inside smiling

Her dad sat on the couch reading the newspaper

Her mom came to his dad and sat beside me

"I think, we should talk to Inayat for her second marriage" her mom said to her dad

"But, after what happened to her do you still think she should do second marriage" Her father placed the newspaper aside and said to her mom

"She is still young and not everyone is same and we should atleast talk to her and convince her for marriage atleast she can meet the guy" Her mom said to her dad

"But what if she declined to get married?" Her dad asked her mom curiously

"Then we will convince her atleast she can meet the guy na?" Her mom replied to her dad

"Wait do you know a guy and you want Inayat to meet him?" Her dad asked as her mom was continuously saying the word 'guy'

"Yeah! He is my friend's daughter. He take care of his dad's company basically he is the CEO. He is the elder son of his family. He owns atleast 8 companies all over the world. And He was in Italy for one of his company for 2 years and now he is back and his mom that means my friend want him to get married to a decent girl. When I told her about our Inayat she wanted to marry her son with our Inayat. So we both set a meeting for both of our child's to meet tomorrow." Her mom told her dad about the guy
