No matter the time, their eyes never lied what they felt for eachother.
However, the said night Jimin didn't knew his heart would come to break apart. As he was walking to his dorm, he saw two people talking there.
The figure looked oddly familiar to him as he walked a little closer, only to find Jungkook talking with a woman. Jimin narrowed his eyes as he stared at those two talking very comfortably with eachother, hitting eachother playfully now and then.
A pang of jealousy struck Jimin's heart, worst scenarios playing in his mind. Who was that woman? Why was Jungkook so comfortable while talking to her as if they were dating?
Were they dating?
No it can't be, Jimin had never seen that woman at Jungkook's place nor anywhere near him since the moment he had been in contact with Jungkook.
Did Jungkook go on a date with her? It might be since Jungkook is old enough to go on dates and who is he to interfere? Jungkook is already 32 and old enough to get married.
Just as he was about to turn and walk inside the building, his eyes met Jungkook as a bright smile spread across the older's lips. "Hey, Jimin-shi-"
But Jimin pretended he didn't hear and stormed inside the building, which caught Jungkook off-guard because he knew the distance was short enough for Jimin to hear.
"Noona, I'll call you later. It's late so I think you should be going home now." Jungkook suggested his older sister. The woman nodded her head and pat on his shoulder before Jungkook called a cab for her and she left the place.
When Jungkook reached his dorm room floor, he halted and looked at Jimin's apartment door for a few seconds before sighing.
He missed a good night from Jimin, he was sure he won't be able to sleep well because the shorter didn't wished him good night with his honey like voice and crescent moon eyes. He knew he was cheesy, but he didn't mind it.
The next few days made Jungkook frustrated. Jungkook couldn't understand why Jimin was suddenly avoiding him. When he got out of his room, Jimin would be nowhere in the scene, he won't come out at the same time Jungkook leaves.
Jungkook brushed it all off saying Jimin might be stressed or something but the silence between them grew wider and wider. One day he caught Jimin leaving earlier than their usual time and Jungkook sure felt something was off because Jimin no longer leaves on the same time as him.
At night, Jimin won't come downstairs to dump the trash and in fact, the younger would throw the trash away when Jungkook is already inside his room. Jungkook happened to see Jimin doing this for few days, as if he was purposely avoiding him at all costs.
"Jimin-shi, Did I do something wrong?" Jungkook wondered with a sigh as he observed Jimin petting a cat, while he stood there in his balcony.
His mind raced with unanswered questions. He felt like he was loosing his connection with the cute shorter male, and it was tearing him apart.
Jimin had always been a source of happiness and comfort in his lonely life.
