Everything in Morrow's life was great. As the alpha's daughter she was respected by default but she gained a second set of respect by her natural abilities in combat. She stood tall with her pale arms crossed over her chest as her destiny-best friend trained with a random she-wolf in the pack. Destiny's coily hair was pulled back in a tight bun as she moved around the small concrete plot. Her caramel skin danced in the light as she put the she-wolf in a headlock.
"Go bestie go bestie!" Morrow cheered at her friend's victory. She hopped up and down like a child while pumping a fist in the air. Morrow was sure if she were a Luna she'd pick Destiny to be her gamma and was also sure Destiny would agree.
Some she-wolves-like alpha's are born with the Luna gene and that was what Morrow was born with. A true Luna. She would mate with an alpha. Something she didn't want. She'd rather not deal with an alpha cocky attitude and anger issues. She was her own woman and didn't want to be mated to anyone.
The she-wolf tapped out causing Destiny to let her go and help the poor thing up. They shook hands before walking away with different emotions plastered on their faces. Destiny in pride as she puffed her chest out walking to de
Morrow with the biggest grin on her face.
"Damn babe, do that again." Morrow cooed with a smile as she winked at Destiny. Destiny matched Morrow's energy as she seductively winked before linking her small arms around Morrow's own. She started towards the pack house.
"Sooooooo, a little bird told me that an alpha is coming in a few days." morrow sighed placing her free hand over her head. She would have to hide during that time. She wanted no opportunities to run into a mate and fall for this ludicrous bond they shared. She preferred being alone and helping her father run his pack. Training every day and looking out for pups. Not uprooting her life to move to some pack she was forced to. "His name is Parker." She sighed while looking at the mansion that sat before us. "When I visited his pack I got to see him, he's lean." Her voice was filled with longing as she stared out Into space. "Tall and so fucking hot!" Morrow laughed at her friend's longing. "I mean, I wouldn't mind mating with that goddess of a man."
"Mating is over-rated." Morrow quickly spat feeling a query feeling in her stomach. Unlike Morrow Destiny couldn't wait to meet her mate. She'd even saved herself for the unknown wolf. But not Morrow. Her heat was very annoying as an alpha female. Mix it with a true Luna's blood and you get a week of pure misery. So she'd go into a human's territory and fucked. Morrow continued as they neared the pack house's steps. "at least when you find your mate you get to talk about it- no I have to uproot my life just because the goddess says so."
"Buuuuutttttt." Destiny started as she pulled open the pack's front door. The smell of cookies came flooding out causing a grin to spread onto Morrow's face. She always loved her mother's baking. A talent that she passed down to morrow though morrow preferred the more physical aspect of life. Her mother taught her to bake in hopes that she'd keep some kind of baking tradition alive in her family. Destiny constituted as she breathed in the heavenly scent of those yummy cookies "You will be so happy, and oh my goodness," Destiny stopped abruptly, snatching her hand away from morrows and covering her heart as she peered into space with a loving gaze. "I'll be an aunt." Morrow groaned at the thought of a crotch goblin disturbing the body she worked so hard to achieve. It took a lot of trial and error to get her body to appear feminine with her training. Finally, when she turned 17 she found a regime that would keep her strong yet appear curvy. That is not an easy task. A child coming out of this stomach would never happen. Another reason to avoid finding her mate is like the plague.
She continued to the packing kitchen she saw her flour-covered mother taking free cookies out of the hot oven. She cooed as she turned setting the pan down on the modern counter. "OOOOOOOO cookies." Morrow squealed with a huge grin as she looked down at the pan that housed the delicious freshly baked cookies. "I'M SOO READY!" She continued as she looked into her mother's dark brown eyes that resembled her own. The wizened woman sported greying brown curls that were never under control. She raised her hand in the air and shook it before speaking.
