Lippa Forever Sparks

Chapter 1: Newly Tied

TO SET THE SCENE A LITTLE BIT: It is February 19, 2016. So this is NOT a fanfiction about the current world.

Pippa's perspective:

          It had been a week since Steven proposed. I couldn't believe that I actually was engaged. I was someone's fiance. ME, Phillipa Soo, was someone's fiance. And not just anyone's fiance, but Steven Pasquale's fiance. I love him so much. It was kind of dreary outside all day, so we just kind of sat at home and watched movies. We cuddled together on the couch for about an hour when I thought of something. "Hey babe?" I asked.

"Yes my love?" Steven replied, looking down at me on his chest.

"It's been a while since we've seen Lin and Vanessa," I chimed. "Maybe we should have them over tonight, you know? To celebrate our engagement? I'm sure Lin would be on board." 

"That sounds nice," Steve said, "I have actually been wanting to catch up  with V-- Lin." He stuttered.

"Sorry what was that?" I questioned. By now, I had already gotten up so I wasn't exactly focused on what he was saying.

"Oh nothing baby, don't worry about it," He stated as he picked me up total bridal style and kissed me. He pulled away after just a second because he wasn't sure what I was up for, but I rested my palms on his cheeks and pulled him back in. This time, we made out. Steven was a good kisser, almost as good as...no. Phillipa get that out of your mind, Lin is not really kissing you. He's just acting. Steven and I were still going. We are still in that new stage where we can't quite keep our hands off of each other, but it's kinda fun. I started to pull away, but he pulled me back in. This time, tight. We continued for another minute before he pulled away. "We've gotta get this show on the road if we wanna have Lin and Ness over here tonight," he said. I laughed as I grabbed my phone from the coffee table to text them.

PIPPA: Hey guys, we haven't seen you in a while!

PIPPA: We were wondering if you guys wanted to come over tonight so you can celebrate the engagement with us?

LIN: Sounds like fun! What time?

STEVEN: 7 would be good.

VANESSA: Okay, see you then.

I looked at the clock, 5:30. I had to start getting ready. I headed upstairs and started doing my makeup. I put on foundation, then concealer, then bronzer, then blush, and then mascara. I finished off my look with my favorite lipstick. Next I did my hair. I curled it and then put it into a half up half down. Steven walked into the room, "Hey gorgeous," he remarked.

 "Hey handsome," I responded. "What time is it?"

"It's about 6:30, need any help love?" He asked.

"No I'm okay, thanks," I replied. I headed into my closet and pulled out a blouse with some jeans, it was just a little get together so I figured I would be fine with just that. Then I put on some nude heels and some gold studs to finish off the look. I walked out of my closet at 6:45 to a fully dressed and groomed Steven. He looked so handsome. Just as my thought had finished, I heard the doorbell ring, I headed down the single flight of stairs and opened the door. "Hi guys! Welcome in!" I said as Lin and Vanessa stepped through the door frame. "Where's Sebby?" 

"Oh he's at home with the sitter," Vanessa answered.

 "The little guy wasn't told that we were going to see his Aunt Pippa though or else he would've gone berserk." Lin chuckled. "How have you been?"

"Good, good," I replied as I led them to the kitchen. After two hours of catching up we decided we wanted some drinks. "How about martinis?" I asked. 

"Sounds great Pips," Lin stated while smiling. I nodded and headed into the liquor cabinet to look for the ingredients. "Well shit," I slightly shouted from behind the door. "What's wrong babe?" Steven questioned, turning towards me. "We don't have any of the stuff to make martinis, I'll run to the store." 

"Why don't you go with her Lin? If that's okay with you Vanessa," Steven implied.

"Oh sure, I don't mind," she said. And with that, Lin and I headed out the door. About an hour passed by the time we had arrived back home. We walked into Steven and Vanessa watching The Office (disclaimer: I do not own The Office nor have the right to take credit for it). Lin and I went into the kitchen and started making the drinks. "Order up!" I shouted from the kitchen. The other three drank whilst I did not because I didn't wanna be hungover in the morning, plus we needed a driver out of the four of us. Around 12:30am, I drove Lin and Vanessa home. When I pulled into their driveway I took the keys, and left the two adults in the car while I paid the sitter and made sure Sebby was asleep. Then, I went back out to the car and escorted both drunken Lin and drunken Vanessa to bed.
