"Dad, I saw them! In the woods," Bella frantically explained as she barged into the house, Sabrina trailing behind her with a stunned expression.

"Bella, what the hell were you doing in the woods?" Charlie asked tiredly, only paying attention to the part where his daughter was putting herself in danger yet again.

"They're not bears they're wolves. I mean like, huge wolves," Bella continued, ignoring his questions.

"Are you sure about that, Bella?" Harry asked, giving her a look.

Sabrina, though still overwhelmed, narrowed her eyes at their family friend. She noticed the way he suddenly tensed when Bella said wolves and the subtle look he got in his eyes as he questioned Bella. Harry Clearwater knew something.

"Yeah, I just saw them," Bella confirmed, "They were after... something."

Sabrina tensed as Bella hesitated for a moment at the memory of Laurent.

"Sabrina?" Charlie called to his niece, "Is that true?"

Bella looked to Sabrina expectantly but Sabrina's eyes were trained on Harry as the older man gave her a knowing look.

"I..." Sabrina glanced at Bella apologetically for a second before returning her gaze to Charlie, "I don't know what I saw. I just wanted to get Bella back to the car... I guess I wasn't really paying attention."

Harry's shoulders sagged with relief and he subtly nodded to her in thanks but Bella looked at her with a hint of betrayal in her eyes.

"But you saw 'em?" Charlie asked Bella, "Wolves?"

Bella nodded, still greatly confused by Sabrina's answer. She too had seen them clear as day so why wouldn't she tell Charlie?

"Alright. Well..." Charlie considered it for a moment before looking to his friend, "Harry? Feel like going hunting? Get some of your guys together?"

"Sure, yeah, I'll just uh..." Harry stuttered

"Get them on the phone?" Sabrina suggested.

"Right," Harry agreed, grateful for the girl stepping in to cover for him, "I'll get going then."

"I should go to the station," Charlie said,
presumably getting ready to put in a report down at work, "Will you two just... stay in the house?"
