As the mercs followed the map to the highschool the summer heat beating down on them they each approached in their mercenary uniforms *although with the heavy weaponry removed from them* As they approached the gate for the interview they had to explain why 5 fully grown men in combat uniforms were attempting to be janitors. *Spy and Sniper opted out because they were dignified* and pyro being around kids is a crime.
Scout: um so we dont have jobs or money so well take what we can get y'know?
Guard: suure ill let you in... Weirdos, I'll see yout get kicked out in a couple days
as they saw the giant school the awe was obvious as the mercs looked at the giant school as they entered the building following the map to the principles office.
As the door opened several pro heroes greeted them at the door, the principal a tiny little bear, dog thing with a scar over its eye greeted them with a smile.
Nezu: Hello my name is nezu i am the principle of this wonderful school i hear your the applicants for our janitorial position
The strange creature did surprise the mercs that and the disheveled man that stood behind him intently watching the mercs, along with that their was a bright yellow haired man with speakers adorning his neck and big sunglasses at the front.
Nezu: Although i am surprised such seemingly combat capable people are who wanted to be janitors the school can use extra help?
Scout: yeah well the we need the money
Scout was quickly smacked by heavy as his brow furrowed in disapproval while staring at the pros
Engie: yea so how many positions do you have available?
Soldier mumbled something about being combat capable as heavy smacked the back of his head.
Nezu: well we usually dont get people lining up to be janitors, but we only have one janitor for a school this large so we can take all of you.
Heavy: Dis is good,
Nezu: ah third question were do you come from, like job expirience
The mercs seemed nervous about the question causing some judgmental looks from the pros
Engie: well ya see were from an american company that uh shut down
Nezu: how odd then why are you in japan
Engie: um buisness trip....
the mercs seemed to nod and avoid eye contact, although nezu seemingly ignored the information.
Nezu took notice of the medics outfit the red cross typically indicated medical abilities
Nezu: sir i have a question for you
Medic: ah me... yeeees you could say that i have certain expiriences with medicine
Nezu: Perhaps you could join our medicinal staff as only one person could be harmful to that poor womans health
Medics smile widened as he realized he could "help" teenagers with superpowers
Medic: ah yes vell im alvays ready to practice medicine
Nezu: wonderful. you start tomorrow except for you... my mistake what are your names again we
The mercs seemed confused at the question but engie remembered that powers were called "quirks" in this world
Engie: ah ya see we dont got "quirks"
Nezu: ah well okay good to know
The mercs left feeling odd as they could feel the stare of the heroes burning holes into the back of their heads. as they exited the building they looked at each other
Scout: do you think we got the job?
Soldier: I DO NOT KNOW WHY MY EAR PEICE WAS REMOVED
Medic: vell you speaking vould have gotten us kicked out hehe

Heavy: We we're very suspicious
Engie: the excuse i used was well not well made

the mercs were walking around the area each seemingly trying to ignore the many different strange deformities or quirks that people had.
Heavy: this world is strange
Medic: yes my big friend quite odd, and interesting
as the mercs continued walking around they took a turn into a dark alley to make their way into the apartment they used to live.
???: hand it over now!
The mercs seemed confused as heavy turned around
Heavy: is little man talking to me?
???: who are you calling "little"
the man seemed to be a lizard with hardened scales and claws but it seemed crazy as heavy grabbed the man and punched him in the gut dealing a massive blow as the mans eyes go white and saliva and a little blood come out of his mouth. Heavy strikes him again this time on the head with crushing force causing the man to collapse unconscious.
Heavy: little man was to weak to fight HEAVY
scouts hands quick as ever snatched the mans wallet checking the money,
Scout: how much is this in USA money?
Engie: um i dont know pardner we gotta ask spy
heavy rubbed his hands on his shirt leaving the body on the floor collapsed and shaking.

he stared at the body disheveled and broken. the eyes stared at it questioning who did this?
