They all looked at each other.

"Well, it might not hurt." Shoko broke the tension like it was nothing.

"I would help but... I don't know him well. I don't know if a first-year that barely talked to him is worth getting hurt." Kento sighed.

"Might get hurt. I'll add that. I know we don't know for sure, but please. I... I need him. Anyway, should we tell Principal Yaga about this?" It's like Satoru erased his pained reaction off his face.

"If we tell him the worst that can happen is that he says no. The best that can happen is him saying yes and helping us." Shoko's voice was barely considered a whisper.

"Sssshhhh!" Kento and Satoru quieted Shoko in unison.

"Let's just think about this tomorrow. I'm tired."

"Fine by me." Satoru put his feet on the table.

"Yeah sure." Shoko followed.

______________________________________________

It was a stressful Monday. Missions being a disaster, tragedies happening because of the jujutsu sorcerers, and everyone being grumpy. Except Satoru. Well at least he was the normal Satoru and not the "I miss Suguru so much blah, blah, blah" Satoru.

"Shoko!" Satoru yelled out. "So is anyone going to tell the Principal Yaga?"

"Ehhh not me! If I go he'll probably say no. I hadn't really talked to him since my detention time." Shoko laid her head on the lounge couch.

"Yeah probably not. I guess we won't tell him. If we tell him he'll probably say no and we'll go anyway." Satoru sighed.

"I agree. Also where did Nanami go? He should've been back from his mission."

"I dunno."

"Well I guess we have to do this without him. We really don't have a plan though. What are we supposed to do? Walk around the whole country and try to sense cursed energy? There's no way we'll sense him like that. It might be hopeless."

"Don't even think about that." Satoru's tensed up for a bit. "It's never hopeless unless we try"

______Suguru's POV_____________________________

"Geto! You'll surely like this place to terminate! Kyoto jujutsu school!" It was early in the morning, and Mahito was shocked by Suguru's dark eye bags and red eyes.

"Yeesh! What happened to you? It looks like you haven't gotten any sleep for the past three years."

Suguru's eye twitched. "Yeah. I haven't. I don't like this. At all. I'm leaving." Mahito's eyebrow raised.

"Oh no. You're never leaving. Well you're not leaving without a fight." Just then three cursed spirits who used to be perfectly fine humans emerged.

Shit. That patched bitch doesn't know what a break is.

______Satoru's POV__________________________

"Nanami! There you are! Also what happened to you?" The girl raised an eyebrow.

Kento sighed. "It was the mission."

"Yeah of course it was. C'mere! Do you wanna join us? We're making a plan to find Suguru." Satoru shouted.

"Yeah"

The three went basically nowhere. They thought about putting missing posters for him but that probably wouldn't work. Then they thought about yelling his name, but they wouldn't know if he's even in the city or even in the country.

"Argh! We are going nowhere!" Satoru sighed.

"We could get a fresh, clean mind if we sleep. We could get new ideas tomorrow if we are refreshed." It was getting late, and Kento agreed to get sleep.

"Fine, fine. Night I guess." All of them head to their dorms.

It was another night with minimal sleep. Satoru was coming up with solutions in his head but couldn't find a simple one. Can't there be one solution? It's possible it's... not. Satoru was thinking about abandoning the idea of saving Suguru. But did he want to be saved? Was there a solution at all except wait for the slim chance he comes back? Maybe I have to think complex. I...might have to leave him behind. The thoughts in his head gave him a headache. He thought rest would solve but that didn't even happen.

The thought of Suguru slowly slipped his mind and his eyes shut.
