012:: out of the school, now in the town

                                                             they started at their old school, all burnt on fire. they decided to wait till the next morning, because of dae-su injury, and because they were all tired, " let's go " su-hyeok said, " on-jo let's go " he put his hands on her shoulder, " im sorry, can you wait for just a second, never mind go ill catch up with you "

nam-ra stood up, " ill go with her " she said, as hae-won and su-hyeok both decided to go as well, " im going too " dae-su tried to stand up but just hurt him self more, " you idiot you can't go " aera scolded the boy

it didn't take very long, for them to come back making them finally travel to go to yangdong, mi-yeong and aera walked next to each other, " i think we're lost. . .no i know we're lost " mi-jin said, " there's no trail? " hyo-ryung looked around, " there hasn't been a trail for a while, i think we've been going on a circle " mi-jin suggested

" why did you come this way if there was no trail? if we go the wrong way it'll be hyosan " dae-su said, " ha-ri look " woo-jin pointed, as the group walked to it, just to see a golden ribbon, " someone must have left it here "

" who would do something so nice? " mi-jin smiled, " a ginseng digger? " she look at ha-ris face and her smile faded, " there's another one " mi-yeong said, as they follow the golden ribbons

eventually it got them to an abandoned town aera saw a dead bird on the floor making her grab a mop near by for protection , " didn't he say go to yangdong? " dae-su asked, " you don't think there are zombies here too, do you? " hyo-ryung turned to dae-su, " no way, maybe they left because it's close to hyosan " dae-su suggested.

" hey, im getting a bad feeling about this " aera turned to the group, " where is everyone " mi-jin added, " we are okay, there's no blood on the street, no broken windows, to clean for zombies " mi-yeong explained

nam-ra then stopped looking back and forward, " zombies " she said, " where though? " on-jo asked, " everywhere " she replied, " how much of them? " aera looked around, " one, two, three. . .four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, run " she ordered, as they followed.

dae-su then fell, causing su-hyeok to grab a shovel from a closed shop, " take dae-su and go " su-hyeok ordered, " forget it " aera said copying his actions by grabbing a shovel, " what are you doing, aera? " he asked, " i said forget it " aera stood next to su-hyeok, as the rest agreed and grabbed weapons

soon enough, through the fog they spotted the zombies, as they started hitting them with the shovels and other weapons. one ran towards aera as she put the shovel right in its face making it fall down, she then put it in the zombies heart making it fall, aera noticed a zombie on su-hyeok and in result she threw a sign at him, then grabbed his shovel killing a near by zombie. after helping him up as he watched the girl in amazement.

mi-yeong ran to woo-jin, just to see his bitten neck, " i knew this would happen " he kept repeating it, mi-yeong sat messy to him, " woo-jin " she cried, " mi-yeong " he looked at the girl before smiling a bit, " ive liked you since the first grade, and i don't think ill stop " he informed her only making her cry more

the two shared a kiss before he turned to his sister and confronted her about lying that she made it to nationals, mi-jin raised her weapon as his bones crunched, " not, woo-jin please " mi-yeong cried out, aera grabbed her hand pulling her away, woo-jin then turned to a full zombie, and attacked ha-ri before nam-ra broke his neck killing him

su-hyeok then came to the scene, " su-hyeok, woo-jin " dae-su cried, aera fully hugged her best friend, as hae-won came and placed his hands on the girls shoulder, and gave her a comforting smile, " let's go that way, there's no zombies " nam-ra informed, ha-ri grabbed her shovel before walking the opposite way

" please don't, come on " mi-jin pleaded the archer, " let go " she said, but nam-ra grabbed the shovel and threw it causing ha-ri to push her, " don't die for no reason "

" if we go now, we might make it, we should have enough time " nam-ra informed, " i know, i've killed a lot of zombies myself, buy a human being would apologize for killing her brother, and her lover right in front of them " mi-jin shook her head, before grabbing ha-ri arm and pulling her away

hae-won grabbed nam-ra hand pulling her away before going to help carry dae-su, aera squeezed mi-yeong hand while they ran. " wait a second, nam-ra gone. .ill be right back " hae-won said, aera looked at the boy, " hae-won! " she shouted, before helping dae-su

" you have them, go ahead, ill catch up " on-jo told the three, " on-jo " dae-su and aera said, " guys wait! " aera shouted making them all look at her, she looked behind hoping the two would be safe

she watched as the two came back but no on-jo, she hugged her brother, before they continued walking, they put their hands up for the army, soon after they brought him too the safe place, hae-won and aera walked next to each other, until they saw someone from their mom work place

" where is she? " aera looked around, and put her hands on the bars of the room, the worker gave her the feather that her mother would always match with her outfits, aera put her hand on her mouth before grabbing the feather and staring at it, hae-won took the feather from her before he started crying

" mom, i miss you " he said to the feather, su-hyeok walked to the two, " what are you— " he asked, then saw the two crying, " im sorry " he said before hugging aera letting her cry in his shoulders

                                                   aera stepped into the sun, it was the last day of quarantine, she started at the kid running together. she sat down next to su-hyeok, " you miss her? " he asked, " mhm, you miss them? " she asked him, aera was grateful, she didn't lose as much as him or on-jo, he nodded.

" last day of quarantine " he smiled, " mhm " she nodded, over the four months neither aera or hae-won had heard from their father, they didn't know if he was alive or not, " hae-won said on-jo told him that there was a campfire at the school roof, they planned to go today "

he nodded, " ill go with you guys " he nodded. the whole group showed up, as they sneaked out to the school, and looked around at their burnt school, aera remembered all the fun memories she had, after they finally climbed to the roof, and saw the campfire, and saw none one " maybe it was a youtuber? " mi-jin suggested as aera nodded

" like those kids who like haunted houses " mi-yeong nodded, " no, nam-ra maybe she lit it because she missed us, i don't know for sure but i think i do" aera said, they turned around to see the girl, " nam-ra " hae-won spoke

she walked towards them, honestly the girl looked the best she ever saw her, " hey prez " hae-won said, " am I still you class president? " she asked, " always " he said, " it nice. . " she looked at fire, " are you okay, how have you been? " aera asked, " I've missed you guys, I've missed all of you "

" nam-ra," on-jo smiled, " I wanted to go see you guys but I didn't think I should " nam-ra shook her head, " no, it's okay, come with us " on-jo said, " i still have thing to do "

" what things? " on-jo asked
" they're others like me, some of them ran away from the school a while ago, but some are left "
" your not a zombie don't say that "on-jo shook her head
" you know how we're not really kids but not adults either, that's like me im neither human or zombie "

" your not please stay, it will be okay " aera grabbed the girls hand, " we're friends even if we are part " nam-ra smiled, " aren't we? " she asked, " yes, " hae-won said,

" that's good enough, that's them " nam-ra said, " see you " nam-ra smiled at aera before jumping off the school roof leaving them all in shock
