Haseena didnot reach the engagement venue on her engagement day. At her house, a letter was found which snatched the ground beneath Anubhav's feet, consecutively shattering his trust and his mother disliking her for betraying her son.
Even she was not wrong as a mother . Which mother would like a person who hurt their child? None right?
Nobody except the MPT members believed that Haseena went away due to some big reason, not that she didn't love Anubhav, she did, but something very important must have happened for her to disappear on an extremely important day as that. Heck, even Anubhav wanted to believe that, but the letter said otherwise and as always, the weight of the evidence felt heavy over his own feelings.
The thing that no one noticed was that, Haseena's engagement outfit and jewellery were not in her room, or anywhere in her house. One doesn't run away from their engagement in heavy ethnic clothes, right?
Also, during the month before the engagement, something unusual happened. A child, a little girl precisely around 4-5 years of age met Haseena at the Police headquarters and started calling her 'Bua'. Initially shocked, Haseena asked the child about her parents and she replied that she only had her father. On further enquiry, it turned out that the child Ruhi had once called Haseena and had talked to her, but she shrugged it off that time as wrong number.
The thing was that, the child was strangely similar to Haseena despite meeting her for the first time. Both of them were allergic to flowers, which was genetic and both had similar taste in food and other stuff. Also, the child sometimes spoke words and phrases just like HM does while talking to her team members. On their second meet, they both connected easily as if they knew each other from ages.
The girl had calming ocean blue eyes, that often reminded HM of someone but she used to shrug it off, as that was not possible because that human being had left for the heavens long ago.
After 4 days of her disappearance, Anubhav was notified by the Commisioner that Haseena was appointed a case and that she was required to leave Lucknow for the same. He relayed this new information to MPT members and Ammi, easing theirs and his tension. Now, after two months she is returning to Lucknow.
