The next morning I was awaken by Zania making her way in between me and Alonna in my bed.
"Mommy I'm hungry"She said,I laughed
"Ok,auntie Lonna about to make some breakfast "I whispered,She smiled and nodded running back to her room
"How you gonna volunteer service"Alonna said sitting up
"Because you miss cooking for us"I said getting out of bed
I went and showered as Alonna made breakfast before Ty came to pick her and Tymir up later.
"Jay you should really come to L.A permanently,like it's so much shit to do and a million and one opportunities"Alonna said as she gathered her things to leave
"I was thinking about it but I want to be prepared before I do that,when I leave New York this time ,I'm not coming back"She nodded
"Yes I feel like that's what you need, it whenever you make your decision me and Ty already talked about it so you and the kids are more than welcome to stay until you get settled ,plus having you there to help with this pregnancy will calm my nerves"I smiled
"Ok Alonna damn,I will let you know as soon as I get a thought about it"She smiled
Thinking about what she said made me think about it so much. In every way she was right but at the same time I felt comfortable here,I knew how things go and where things go,my kids have friends and family here and most of all all my memories here is what gets me through my fucked up days and I don't know if I'm ready to change that yet...
After they left I spent some time packaging some orders to send out tomorrow then I a had to upload some new items I had to my website.
I was just finishing my orders when Chris name was announced through my AirPods,I answered it.
"Hello"I said
"Hey Jay,am I interrupting you"He asked
"Actually no,what's up"I asked
"I was calling to see if you thought about when I can get the kids?"He asked
"Oh yes,any day this week is fine"I said
"Ok,I wanna get them tomorrow if that's cool with you"
"Yes that's cool,how long you keeping them"I asked
"Probably the full 2 weeks,I got some things planned but I'll be taking them to L.A with me "
"Awe yea they'll love that,I can have their things packed tonight so whenever you come to get them everything will be ready"I said
"Ok that's perfect,thank you Jay for real"I giggled
"For what Breezy"I said letting that name slip out without thinking and I can't lie,it made me think about him in every way I missed
