Three years had come and gone since the tragic death of the beloved king and queen. Today marked a new beginning - the coronation of their new ruler, Elio. The streets were alive with excitement.

Among the crowd of eager onlookers stood Y/n, in her knight uniform.

“Y/n.” Viella held her daughter's wrist firmly while giving her a look.

“I know ma, you don't have to worry!” Y/n gives her mom a reassuring look.

“I know I can't help but worry about my little girl.” Viella smiled before pulling Y/n into a warm embrace.

“I better get going.” Y/n pulled away from the hug and kissed Viella on the cheek before walking away.

Y/n was filled with excitement as she headed towards the castle, eager to reunite with Elio after three long years. Work had consumed her life, leaving little time for personal visits, but she did write letters to him, making sure they would never drift apart. Just as she was about to enter the castle, a familiar hand grabbed her wrist and whisked her away in the opposite direction. The sound of laughter confirmed her suspicions - it was Anna.

“Anna!” Y/n whined, making the ginger chuckle.

“You can meet my brother later! Now for the first time in forever.” Anna held Y/n's hand while smiling at her. “I'm getting what I'm dreaming of!” Y/n softly chuckled. “A chance to leave my brother's world.” Y/n stared at her best friend weirdly. Anna then let go of Y/n's hand and began walking towards the bridge.

“A chance to find true love?” Y/n asked, making Anna nod happily.

“Nothing will be in my way!” Anna smiled proudly as she began to walk forward.

“Anna watch!” In that split second, Anna bumped into a horse's breast and sent her tumbling backward, only to land in a rickety wooden boat that teetered dangerously on the edge of the docks. Just when it seemed like she was about to plunge into the icy waters below, the horse's powerful hoof slammed down on the boat, stabilizing it and preventing disaster.  “Out…” Y/n finished as she rushed towards her best friend helping her up.

“I'm fine!”

“I'm so sorry. Are you hurt?” The rider got off his horse and stood in front of the two girls.

“Hey. I-ya, no. No. I'm okay.” Y/n stared at her best friend suspiciously.

“Are you sure?” He asked, making a worried expression.

“Yeah, I just wasn't looking where I was going. But I'm okay.” Anna smiled at him as Y/n took a step back feeling awkward.

“I, Prince Hans of the Southern Isles.”

“Princess Anna of Arendelle and she's Y/n.” Anna pointed at Y/n who slightly bowed her head towards Hans.

“Just Y/n?” Hans asked curiously as Y/n glared at him; he quickly smiled at Anna, trying not to show he got scared.

“Anna, let's go; the coronation is about to start.” Y/n held out her hand as Anna accepted it.

“See you soon? Not saying I'll miss you or anything but I do hope to see you soon!” Anna waved to Hans making Y/n roll her eyes. “Isn't he handsome?” Anna smiled at Y/n who made a disgusted face.

“Please, the horse's face was more handsome than all of him.” Anna playfully elbowed Y/n.

As Elio stood at the altar, with Anna and Y/n by his side, the weight of the crown on his head felt both exhilarating and daunting. As Elio prepared to reach for the scepter and orbs, the bishop whispered.
