Hobi was hanging out on the couch with Namjoon after everyone else had gone to bed. The two of them enjoyed finally relishing in the silence that they didn't get a lot of within the dorm. Something had been on the elder rappers mind for quite some time now and he figured Namjoon would be a good person to bring it up to.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure," Namjoon replied. He wasn't paying much attention as he scrolled through his phone.

"Does everyone really think I'm a scaredy cat?"

Namjoon dropped his phone and looked to Hobi as he started to laugh. "Of course."

"Joonie!" Hobi whined. "I suppose it was a rhetorical question. I already know I'm the scaredy cat of the group."

"Okay. Well then, what about it?" Namjoon raised his eyebrow wondering where his hyung was going with this.

"I don't want to be so afraid of things anymore. I was thinking I should do something adventurous or scary to help me start becoming a braver person. Maybe doing that will help."

"What did you have in mind? I'm sure the guys would be down to do whatever-"

"-I meant by myself."

Namjoon tilted his head, wondering if his hyung had gone crazy. "You want to try something adventurous and scary alone? We really don't mind going with you."

Hobi felt as though the only way he could really overcome all of his fears was to face them head on without having someone else to lean on or hide behind all the time. "No, no. Trust me. I have to do something on my own."

"Alright well, what were you thinking?"

"I haven't decided yet. I'm still thinking about it."

Namjoon stood up and stretched. "Well I am sure whatever it is, you'll have fun and it will be great. On that note I'm going to bed. I'm exhausted." He walked past Hobi and ruffled his hair before heading off to bed. Hobi decided to look up something fun he could do.

"Cave exploring?!" All of the members screamed at the same time.

It was the next morning and the members were sitting around the table eating breakfast. Hobi had informed them of everything he'd told Namjoon last night and he also decided on an activity.

"Hyung when you said adventurous and scary I didn't think you also meant dangerous! Can't you start with something smaller, like I don't know, a roller coaster or something?!" Namjoon couldn't take another bite of his food because his own anxiety was rising. He was sure of it now, his hyung had in fact gone crazy.

Hobi put his hand up to stop everyone from talking. "Hear me out, will you? It's a guided tour. A guide takes me on a boat ride down the river and we stop at a little cave, look around, get back in the boat, and then come back. It's fun and adventurous, but it's safe too. It sounds scary, which is why I need to try it."

"I really don't think you should do it." Jungkook put his fork down and looked his hyung right in the eyes. "At least not alone. Let us come with you."

"No!" Hobi banged his hand on the table and stood up. "I need to try something for myself for once."

"Why the sudden need for bravery?" Taehyung wondered. "You live your life perfectly fine."

Hobi's expression suddenly changed to one of discontent. "That's what you think. Believe it or not, I'd like to be able to do more things in life without being so scared."
