I only own plot, Olivia and Kole (And sort of James I guess), the rest to J.K. Rowling

Olivia POV

"Should we talk to him, give him space? What should we do?" I asked Harry, as he made pancakes.

"I think we should see how he acts, if he stays in his room, leave him alone, if he comes out and tries to make conversation we can ask," Harry decided thoughtfully.

"Good point," I agreed, "I'm going to go check on James."

"Alright," he said going back do the pancakes.

I walked down the hallway, while passing the room Blaise was in, I heard crying and no it wasn't Kole's.

I chose to ignore Harry's idea and I knocked on the door.

"Come in," I heard, but I heard a light sob afterwards.

I opened the door to see Blaise wiping his face.

I sat on the edge of the bed and said, "You know Blaise, it's okay to cry." I started rubbing the top of his back.

"I know," Blaise said quietly.

"Did you get any sleep last night?" I asked him.

"You heard me awake, I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to be loud!" he said worriedly.

"Don't worry, we didn't hear you at all, I'm just assuming you must have struggled falling asleep," I told him.

"Oh, well... to answer your question. No, not really," he said.

"It'll get better Blaise, I promise."

"And how would you know," he said in a mean tone.

"Because, I've watched my mother go through a million failed relationships, me ex-stepdad, her boyfriends, all of it, but she got through it, with the love her family," I told him.

"But... I-I don't have a family, just Kole," he said sadly.

"Well, that is the biggest lie I've ever heard," I said which confused him.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"You have Pansy, Ron, Neville, Luna, Hermione, Draco,  Harry and me. Our little group is a makeshift family, don't forget that. We're all here to support you. You can talk to anyone you want to talk to. All we want is for you to be happy, and we will support whatever you decide that is," I reminded him.

"Thanks Olive," he said.

We then hugged, he needed it, and I didn't even mind when he started sobbing into my shoulder.

We sat there for a couple of minutes before Blaise's loud sobs turned into light tears.

"Sorry, for getting my heartbreak in your hair," he said jokingly.

"It's alright, today's wash day anyway," I said adding onto his joke.

We hugged one more time before I stood up.

"Harry's making pancakes, whenever you're ready, just head into the kitchen," I informed him.

"Okay, thank you Olivia, for everything."

"No problem, if you need me, just let me know, I'm not busy today," I told him sincerely.

"Thanks," he said smiling.

I opened the door and walked out of the room and across the hall to James' room.

I then saw the young toddler sitting up in his crib.
