Chapter 1

Everything is fucked up. Not to sound too pessimistic but my life can't be more of a hell ride than this. My parents asked me one thing, one damn thing, to take care of my cousin when I move to Chicago for my college but I fucked that up. Technically not yet, the fuckery would be complete only when I don't find an apartment near my cousin's place. The apartment which I and, my best friend, Ronan wanted to rent was leased out to someone else. My drunk ass forgot to pay the lease amount on the said day because I was too drunk, fucking pathetic. It was one of the few nice places. Also, it was near to my university and my cousin's place. So here I'm waiting for my tía, to who I run after messing up shit in my life. Hoping this time also she could save me from disappointing my parents.

My tía is a realtor, so she must know few places. I swallow my pride and wait in her office. She told me to ask her for help which I refused and said I'm a big guy, I'll take of things. Like hell I am. When she comes out, she's going to smack me. You should never mess with a Latina women, here I'm waiting for her to drag me by the ear and tell, "I told you so". I fidget nervously with my bracelet which my cousin gave. The thoughts of leaving my cousin alone shapes up. I shake my head to push those thoughts away.

"Mijo, look at you, big boy huh", my aunt greets me with a smile. I get up from the sofa to wrap her into a hug. She's looking the same how she looked when I last saw her. God, this woman don't age. She's forty five but people would believe if she says she's twenty five. She pecks my cheek, which I hate. I'm not a kid anymore but I don't object as I'm here for her favor.

"Looking beautiful as always tía", I say honestly.

"Cut the crap, what did you do this time?", she's immediately onto my bullshit as always. She has a nuisance detecting radar I guess. I look at her sheepishly and rub the back of my neck.

"Caught me, tía I have a favor to ask", she gestures for me to go on. I tell her everything. She let's out a sigh, "Mijo, I told you to call me, didn't I? Also, can't you be more responsible", she scowls at me.

" I know I messed up, but please don't tell my parents. I really need a place near my uni, help me", I plead with her.

"Mijo, all the apartments are booked. You know start of the semester is always the rush time. People even make pre-bookings, you know this too", she explains with a sigh.

"But you are my super aunt, I know you could help me somehow", I try to soap her up earning an eye roll.

"You have been a pain in my ass ever since, what am I going to do with you?", she scowls again but pulls out her phone, I think it is to look into apartments for me.

"But you like this pain", I grin at her.

"What else am I supposed to do? You are my only sister's only son". I wait for her to search into places. After what feels like eternity, she looks up from her phone.

"There are no places mijo. But my apartment is free. I shouldn't tell this to you. I've rented it out to a girl, my best friend's relative. That girl made a strong request to not rent out the other two rooms to boys. I agreed to her, now I can't go back on my words", she sighs.

My eyes brighten up. There's no way a girl wouldn't not fall for my charms, one bright smile and some flirty comments, girls would drop their pants for me. I've got this. I could seduce her and make her agree to living with not one but two hot dudes. I smirk at how easy this is going to be. My aunt looks up at me and shakes her head. She gives me a warning look.

"Don't even think about what you are thinking. She's new to this country. She is from India. She would never fall for your cheep tricks. Also, she hates men. When I say hate, loathes men. We were signing off the lease at a café, a guy made a comment on her ass, she didn't even bat her eyes to pour hot coffee on his crotch. So, don't even think about convincing her. She's not that easy"
