Chapter 2 Criminals?
I woke up. its 5 am? I woke up early today. I yawned and got up from my bed. I went downstairs to make something. "So who was your friend?" I never turned so quickly in my life. Micheal. "Uh, my friend?" Micheal glared me down. "Don't act dumb with me. Eden told me he dropped you off." I was confused when I remembered that Ritchie dropped me off. "Oh! You mean Ritchie?" Michael was shocked. "Ritchie Diabolus?" I nodded. Oh yeah didn't Ritchie say he knew Michael. "Of course, he got you in trouble." He rolled his eyes. "Do you know him?". He looked at me and sat down in a chair. "Yeah, when I was still in high school. He was a trouble maker but I can't be talking either. But for personal reasons, I'm telling you anything else. You can ask him." I was curious. Hm? When Micheal was still in high school? I guess I will ask later.

I finished my breakfast quickly and I checked my phone. It's almost 6 a.m.... might as well shower. I headed upstairs and took a hot steamy shower. I got ready and dressed myself. A knock was on the door. " WILL YOU HURRY UP DEVIN! YOUR TAKING FOREVER." I frowned. Seriously Eden? You're the one who woke up late. "EDEN WAIT A DAMN SECOND," I yelled. I sighed. I brushed through my head. There. I'm good now. I opened the door. Eden pushed me out of the bathroom. Geez. I rolled my eyes.

I went to my bedroom to get my bookbag. I checked my phone. Huh? What is this? A group chat? I clicked on it. Divinus magia? What is this? The only number I recognize is Ritchie.

Ritchie: hey guys! So I added Devin.

?: oh! I was wondering who you added. But
he's joining our little group activity then?

Devin: activities?
6:35 am

Ritchie: I'll tell you later.

Devin: okay.

?: wait so Devin is joining us?
6:38 am

Ritchie: idk depending on him.
6:39 am

Devin: I don't know anybody's phone number. 😭 would mind telling me who everyone is? I'm Devin if you haven't noticed yet.

Devin: Okay, thanks!

Ritchie: who's that?

Kit: it's Blake's phone number

David: HUH? DID YOU ADD LOST CHILD HERE?

Lucas: wait Blake is also gonna join us
6:50 am

Kit: yep! I haven't told her the other part yet but I will.

Ritchie: let's wait for that okay

Devin: huh?
6:53 am

Lucas: don't worry about it.
6:55 am

Devin: okay?
6:57 am

Brandon: okay everyone off the phones. And get ready for school.

Micheal & Kit & Lucas: yes Mom 🙄

I giggled at my phone. Micheal knocked on my door. "are you ready?" I put my bookbag on. "Yeah." I headed downstairs. "Go wait in the car. Eden and I will be out in a sec." I nodded. I went to the backseat of the car. I wonder what they mean by activities? A club maybe? Hmm... Eden and Micheal got in the car. It was silent. Eden turned to me. "Are you dating Ritchie?" I turn in shocked. "WHAT! NO" I squirmed in my seat in embarrassment. My face was all red. Micheal looked at us in the rearview mirror and sighed. "Stop Eden. Leave Devin alone." Eden rolled his eyes. Micheal stops in front of the school. "Behave!" Eden and I entered the school. We both went our separate ways.

I was heading to math class. When I heard my name. "Devin!" I turned around to see who it was. It was Kayla from gym class. "Oh hi, kay! Do u have math as well?" I pointed at the door. "Yep!" I smiled. "Ah okay, at least I will have a friend in class." She smiled as well. We both headed in and took a seat. Kayla was staring at someone. "Who are you staring at?" Kayla blushed and was fiddling with her hair strands. "Um. I was staring at that guy right there." She pointed. I looked. Wait that guy looks familiar...where have I seen him? The guy turned a bit and I was shocked. THATS VIPER. Wait Kayla likes him???? I turned around in shock. "Kay... do u like him?" She got even redder. She started to laugh nervously. "Yeah." Oh, this poor girl. Kayla blabbered on about how the viper bumped into her and caught her before she fell. Viper told her to be careful next time. I was thinking to myself that there's no way that's Viper. At least the viper that I know... math class went by quickly. Honestly, all the classes are easy. I was thinking about how to escape from Viper because this is gonna end up bad. He is from Grimshade... Kayla tapped my shoulder. I turned around. "Hm?" She grabbed my arm. "Just put on your hoodie for a sec I'll walk with you." I smiled. "Yeah okay, I hope he doesn't notice us too much haha..." We both put up our hoodies and started walking away. Once through the doorway, we bolted. We both started to laugh. "We definitely looked suspicious." I laughed. She agreed too. "Anyway, Devin I got to go okay so bye." I waved." Bye."

I sighed. Hmm, what class do I have next? I think I have a free period. I pulled out my schedule. Yep, I have a free period. Hmm, room 203? I started walking towards the classroom. I opened the door. I noticed Ritchie and Lucas were in here. I walked towards them. "Oh, heyyy dev!" Lucas said happily. "Hi." I smiled. "So what you guys up to?" Ritchie smirked at me. I tilted my head in confusion. "Nothing, but we can tell you about our group now."
Oh yeah, I kinda forgot about that. "Wait right now?" Lucas said. "Yep right now."  I was really confused.
