Tayver watched as Davanos came to a stop and nodded up towards what looked like a sleepy inn, oddly placed in the rougher neighbourhood. There were no drunks stumbling through the doors, or sounds of music, unlike some of the other establishments up and down the street from them.
Tayver grinned thoughtfully at that, looking up at the building and folding her wings tightly to her back as Lianza turned to the Prince and said. "What's the plan?"
Darya didn't stop though, it appeared as if she were about to step up beside Davanos, but she just kept on walking straight at the door, and Tayver didn't need more of an invitation, falling into position beside the woman, noticing Janzel was the first out of the group who also did so.
Tayver felt a shift of power come from Darya, smelling the scent of burning wood as they approached the inn's door. She barely had time to notice that it was charred black and still permeating heat when Darya kicked the thing, sending its crumbling, charred pieces scattering to the ground before her, glowing like embers as she walked in.
There was surprise on the faces of the patrons, as well as the two large goons who must have been guarding the door from the inside and banking on it being locked, as Tayver stepped in and unsheathed her blades, tapping them together three times nearly in unison with Janzel, causing the metal to burst into flames and brighten the dim room, sending anyone near the three of them stumbling back in fear.
Tayver had to give Darya her credit, if the flames surprised her, she didn't show it, pausing as she glanced around the room, which was set up like a tavern, and even had a few people drinking along tables, though there were several unsavoury characters and sounds coming from the back rooms and the rest of the building that made Tayver feel as if they had walked into a brothel.
"If there are any women here that don't want to be here, but fear for their safety, we're here to give you and your loved ones an escort to a safe place, and a second chance."
Tayver wasn't sure if it was going to work, in front of the people who may be forcing the girls to be here in the first place, but she didn't care. And she wasn't surprised when a fight started immediately, turning and meeting the first goon's charge by punching him hard in the face and throwing him into a table full of drunk, leering men, around the same time that Janzel straight kicked the one charging her, sending him flying head over heels over the bar and into the bartender who was just beginning to argue with Darya.
Darya, turned away from the yelling bartender and brought her two blades, which were glowing blue with Davanos' magic, to block an attack from another armed bouncer, deflecting a couple of blows before breaking his nose with the hilt of her sword, then knocking him unconscious with the pommel of the other one to his temple.
The room was silent for a long moment, though Tayver glanced over her shoulder and noticed that the men had caught up at some point, standing behind them, though none of their weapons were yet drawn.
"Men, you're going to sit over in that corner there, by yourselves." Darya used one of her swords to point at the back corner, where there were no tables, chairs, or anything else that could be used as a weapon. "If I have to move you, you'll be worse off than those three. Women stay where you are, while my friends make sure that the rest of this building is safe. Do it now."
With those words, Tayver suppressed a chortle of amusement, seeing the men scrambling over themselves to obey. She stepped to one side as several more Rulin and Vayan Guard than she realized they had with them moved past her and into the other parts of the inn.
Tayver listened to the sounds of fighting, though they were short-lived, followed by a long stream of half clothed men stumbling out into the tavern, to the corner where the rest of the men were sitting, looking morose.
