Dana's P.O.V
I woke up to the smell of bacon. Niall is probably cooking. When you think about it, looking at him, you wouldn't think he could cook. But then again, he's living on his own, how else would he get food that isn't cold or microwaved? I sat up in his bed. I scanned the room slightly before standing up so I knew which direction to go. Yeah, my eyes are pretty bad in the morning. No matter how long I've slept for, my eyes are glued shut and almost everything is black.
I stood up, my legs being wobbly, after two steps I knocked into the little table at the foot of the bed. I felt something soft in my hands. Niall set some clothes out for me? I stood up slowly, glancing at the clothes, still somewhat unable to see them. My vision finally cleared up after a few minutes. I noticed there was a pair of shorts and pants, then a shirt with spaghetti straps and a long sleeve and a short sleeve.
Feeling lazy, I grabbed the tank and shorts. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I took a quick shower with warm water.
I slightly dried my hair with the towel I had available to me, after I got dressed, and put my hair in a messy bun.
I walked downstairs. Niall was just finishing up cooking. He was placing a pile of scrambled eggs on two separate plates and split the bacon between the two. He displayed the plates on the kitchen island, each next to a glass of orange juice.
Niall looked up at me, "Good morning," he smiled, "I see you've found the clothes I bou- er, set out for you!"
"Yeah, I loved all the options."
"I guess I made the right choice picking out those shorts and that tank. You look good." He commented.
I blushed, "Oh, shut up! I'm not even wearing my mascara, I'm surprised I even look decent."
"Well," He thought for a moment, "you, at least, make it work." We both laughed. He pointed to the island, "Breakfast is ready. I hope you're not a vegetarian," Niall joked a bit.
"Oh, no. I love animals and despise hunting, but I am not vegetarian." I replied.
"Good, I was afraid I might... offend you, or something if you were." He said, putting his hand on the back of his neck.
I took my seat at the barstool, second from the right. Niall slid a plate of bacon and scrambled eggs, along with a glass of orange juice, from the other side of the island to me. Niall ate his breakfast on the other side of the counter. I felt kind of awkward, I'm usually alone in my room when I'm eating.
"So..." I spoke up, "What exactly happened last night? I'm sorry if it seems like a touchy subject, but I'm really curious. You screaming. Freaking out at any movement besides your own...."
Niall kind of froze, then slowly began to continue chewing. "It's a... really, long story. I honestly do not feel like discussing it right now. I hope you understand."
I hung my head, feeling guilty, "I do." I tried to think of some way to change to subject since everything was becoming uncomfortable, "Any plans?"
"Well..." Niall thought, "I do need to get more groceries."
"More?"
"Yeah, I went to the store this morning and grabbed the food you're eating while you were asleep."
"Oh."
