"It seems this thing has episodes" the Yiling Patriarch spoke immidiatly after pressing on the 'com' button. Most people in the room were commenting on what had hust finished as he took a few minutes to connect to them.

"You said you're the older me, right?" Wei Wuxian asked and most of the gentry turned to where he sat.

The said person dressed in Gusu Lan robes on the screen simply nodded, resting his head on his hand lazely. "Why?" He asked shortly after, his voice dry and bot holding any of his previous excitement or any of the usual glee and nonchantless WuXian’s voice did.

The younger grew more anxious with this, "First.. you don't look or act like me... second, you're..." the younger drifted out, but being able to rewd himself the Patriarch smiled with a soft chuckle.

Without answering he nudged the chief who cleared his throat before speaking, "any questions about what we watched?" He asked and everyone remained silent for a while.

"Why are you alive?" Who else could've asked this if not Wen Rouhan, very dryly and seriously, yet there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes.

"You will see all the future, why are you in such a rush your honour?" The Patriarch spoke with that same dry expression he wore since the screen was on, a glint if mischief could be seen in his eyes obly by his siblings who wondered why he said those last two words with such mockery.

The Wen didn't respond, and no one else spoke.

Seeing as the room grew silent and people began to whisper amongst themselves, the chief coughed loudy to catch their attention, "well, we'll move on to the next chapter than.." he said before the screen went back to that loadingpagw they'd seen before the first moving images.

"I wonder what we'll see now" commented Lan Jingyi from where he lay on his elder cousin's shoulder, the older Lan nodded along with their other two friends.

"Perhaps we'll get to see Wei Qianbei's past when he was the Yiling Laozu!" Zizhen whispered yelled and Jingyi immidiatly shot up with stars in his eyes as he looked at the older.

The two boys caught in between sighed almost in sink before lokking at eache other. Wen Qionglin and the other four elders watched the kids in silence as the screen showed letters again.

'Reincarnation' it read this time, Wen Rouhan whistled as the letters bled into a scene.

Wei WuXian received a kick just as he opened his eyes.

A voice thundered beside his ear, “Stop playing dead!”

The kick threw him backwards, headfirst onto the ground. Fighting the urge to vomit, a thought formed in his head—that’s quite a lot of courage you have to kick me, the Patriarch.

How arrogant Wei Wuxian thought, displeasure and didgust evudent in his face.

It was his first time hearing a human voice in quite a few years, let alone such a loud, fierce shriek.

His head swirled and ears buzzed with the echoes of the voice, “Whose land do you think you’re living on? Whose rice are you eating? Whose money are you spending? What’s wrong with taking a few of your belongings? Everything you own should be mine, anyways!”

"Oh, I'd forgotten this happend" The Patriarch spoke leaning back on his seat, snatching the bowl of peanuts the chief held next to him, the older whined before fetching himself a new batch, not willing enough to argue.

Aside from this adolescent, duck-like voice, there were the clunks of ransacking chests and smashing objects as well. His eyes gradually cleared up.
