Trina roams her eyes around the garden of their house, where the welcome party for Trixie is happening. She's looking for her girlfriend who looks so anxious.
"Sha, have you seen Faith?" Trisha gave her a " you need to know something look" before dragging her to the library.
"Why are we here? I'm looking for Faith, not to read books." Aalis na sana siya ng makarinig ng sigaw mula sa loob.
"Oh god! Hindi ako si Trina!" Sigaw ni Trixie mula sa loob.
Trina wasted no time. She tried turning the doorknob and then knocked forcefully.
"Faith! Open the door." She knocked again until the door was opened.
Faith stood in front of her, eyes red and swollen. Without a word, she wrapped Trina in a tight embrace—so tight that Trina could barely breathe.
She gave her sister a questioning look but she just shrugged. Trixie walked out of the room. Trina knows that the rivalry between her and her sister is still there.
"She pulled me here," Trina said flatly, not even sparing her sister a glance as she left.
Trisha followed Trixie, leaving Trina and Faith alone in the room, both silent.
"Sorry," Faith said softly. Her tone was tender as she loosened her embrace and looked into Trina's eyes.
"Lasing ka na. Matulog ka na." Hinawakan ni Trina ang kamay niya para igiya patungo sa kwarto niya ng mapansin na nakakuyom ang kamao nito.
"What are you hiding?" She raised an eyebrow, attempting to pry open Faith’s hand.
Faith panicked, quickly pulling her hand away. She avoided meeting Trina's gaze.
"M-magbabanyo lang ako."
Trina held onto her, refusing to let her leave. Faith was acting strange—confused and sweating. Trina knew her too well; something was definitely wrong.
Forcing her wouldn’t work. Faith rarely kept secrets from her unless it was something that could truly upset her.
Gently, Trina pulled Faith into a back hug. She locked her with a soft embrace, and as she felt Faith begin to relax, she tried again to hold her hand. But to her surprise, Faith stepped away, leaving her stunned.
"Hon. D-did you just..." She looked at her clenched fist, which tightened even more, and then gave Faith another disbelieving look, but Faith couldn’t meet her gaze.
"No! I can't. I don't want to." Tinago niya sa likod niya ang kamay.
"Faith Yvilalaine Zacanta. At the count of three, if you didn't give that to me, you'll know what will happen next..."
" One."
Faith took a step back, she wanted to run. But she knew that she couldn't escape from her girlfriend easily.
"Two." Humakbang si Trina palapit kay Faith na humakbang din palayo.
Faith shook her head— telling her not to do it.
"Three."
Faith froze, her back pressed against the wall, trapped. Her chest heaved, her clenched fist trembling as she looked at Trina with pleading eyes.
"Faith, open your hand," Trina demanded, her voice cold and unwavering. She reached out, but Faith pulled her hand behind her back, shaking her head.
"Please, Hon. Don't make me—"
But Trina wasn’t having any of it. She grabbed Faith’s wrist and, with one swift motion, pried her hand open. A tiny, translucent packet fell to the floor.
