I'm very unsure whether to keep the story in first person or third person, so in the first three chapters I'll alternate between topics.

The sound of the rain echoed on the mansion's roof, a constant and mesmerizing rhythm. The droplets hit the ceramic tiles with a muffled sound, like tiny hammer blows on a distant drum. The sound of the drops flowing through the gutters created a soft murmur, while some splashed against the windows, producing a crystalline and irregular sound. The wind blew through the garden trees, making the leaves whisper in harmony with the melody of the rain. The house was by no means ugly, clad in white limestone that shone softly in the sunlight and took on a silver hue under the moonlight. Each stone block was carefully cut and fitted, forming a smooth and flawless surface that highlighted the precision of the classical architecture. Elegant arches adorned the entrances and windows, ornamented with relief details of acanthus leaves and carved rosettes, evoking a sense of grandeur and tradition. The windows were tall and narrow, framed by carved marble moldings, each with stained glass that cast a vibrant and multifaceted glow when the sun shone through them.

Between the windows, tall and sturdy pilasters rose, creating a sense of rhythm and structure. These pilasters were adorned with Corinthian capitals, filled with intricate floral details and volutes that added a touch of opulence to the building.

The mansion's base was clad in gray granite, polished to a mirror shine, protecting the walls from moisture and adding an elegant contrast to the facade. Around the structure, a series of ancient and vigorous vines climbed the walls, their green and shiny leaves creating a natural carpet that softened the rigid lines of the stone. As the rain fell on the window, it was possible to notice that one of the rooms had its curtains open.

The walls, painted in a deep shade of black, were decorated with intricate gold designs that intertwined in elaborate patterns, like arabesques and floral motifs. These gold details reflected the light softly, creating a dramatic and sophisticated contrast with the dark background. Attached to the walls, posters of heroes like Batman and Superman brought a touch of vibrant color and a sense of adventure. Next to the heroes, posters of Tottenham Hotspur FC occupied a prominent place, reflecting the resident's devotion to the football club. Images of iconic players and the club's emblem were carefully framed, integrating harmoniously into the room's design.

The floor was covered with a fine and soft material, giving a luxurious feeling underfoot. On it, a wine-colored fur rug spread out, its rich texture and deep color adding a touch of warmth and comfort to the environment.

In a corner of the room, an old-school tube television, large and robust, was positioned on a wooden stand. Next to the TV, a classic 1996 video game console, the original PlayStation, was connected, with the controllers carefully arranged next to it. Near the television, a shelf displaying a collection of games and video game magazines completed the scene. A little further to the side, a black leather armchair with a modern and elegant design was positioned near the TV, offering a comfortable place for prolonged gaming sessions. Next to the armchair, a small coffee table held a reading lamp and some books and magazines, adding a personal and inviting touch to the space.
