The Forbidden Love

Chapter 1

It's a normal morning, I have a date with Ivy today. We are going on a picnic. My mom walks into my room, scaring me awake. 
"Daisy, you were supposed to be up an hour ago! We have to go to church, it's Sunday," she looks at me annoyed.
"Mom, I have plans today."
"It doesn't matter, there's nothing more important than church. You are going to church, now get ready, we're leaving in ten minutes. You can go to your plans after."
"Fine..." I roll my eyes.
"Don't give me attitude Daisy, or you can't go."
"Sorry mom," I say.
I get in a nice black cardigan, jeans, and black Converse. I rush out to the car with my purse. I get in the backseat with my sister Lila. My mother and father put on gospel music in the car and we start driving to church. I look out the window to see the sky that has many clouds with different shapes and sizes, trees, and grass as far as the eye can see, and more. I love this area I live in.
 I quickly text Ivy I might be a little late because of being forced to go to church. She understands, I don't know how I deserve this woman.
We arrive at church, the cross looking down at me, knowing that I'm disappointing God by loving another girl. I walk in the church, eyes on my family as we walk in and then they look back up to the priest. Five minutes went by and service starts. The priest leads us all in prayer and all I can think about it Ivy. If he or anyone in my family knew, most importantly if God knew, it'd be the end of me. I'm already sinning, but no one but Ivy and her best friend Evangeline know about us. I can't tell anyone else, I could get beaten or worse disowned and kicked out on the street.  I wish I could be normal for once and like guys so I wouldn't have to worry about all of this. The priest is rambling about God and how Jesus is looking down on us and if we sin, we will go to hell. I don't want to go to hell, but Ivy is the truest love I've ever felt. Maybe it's worth going to hell for her. Why does this love have to be forbidden...
