Bloody You

Stepping out of the bathroom after a cold shower on a hot day was probably everything I could ask for, if only I also had a certain someone with me in the room. I was fuming when Jake picked that Mingyu guy over me but the moment felt so unreal, I really couldn't do anything about it. He wasn't wrong when he did it to be honest, given that, we are never actually there for each other but what troubled me, was how my employees had started perceiving our relationship.

"Their relationship must be so disturbed to sleep in separate rooms, don't you think?", I heard someone gossiping on the dinner table. "I totally agree with you." I wanted to scream that it wasn't like it at all- at least from my side but when Jake entered with his hands intertwined with Mingyu's, I wanted to tear him apart. "Evening, everyone.", he addressed us all in his honey like voice and I almost forgot the grudge I was holding against him. "Good evening, Ho-Seok hyung.", he patted the pronounced male's back, warmly smiling at him who returned the gesture. They went around the cafeteria to look for a seat, settling on one before that tree of a man got up.

"I'll make you a plate.", he smiled and it made me wanna punch his teeth. "Sweet like always. Thank you, sunbae.", Jake replied with the same affection.

Sunbae?

My eyes followed him as he served Jake the food- everything of his choice with an ideal knowledge of his likes and dislikes. Since when did he even know him to have such a good understanding? I gritted my teeth in anger, getting up to fetch a glass.

"Here.", I offered Jake a glass of freshly squeezed pineapple juice as they both stared at me blankly. "Are you sure you're his husband?", I shot Mingyu a glare, trying to burn him with it. "Of course, I am.", I replied, pride fuelling my guts. "Then, how the hell do you not know that he's allergic to pineapples?"

Oh, shit.

The disappointment in Jake's eyes was so evident that I almost felt guilty. No surprise, here. Even though we lived under the same roof, I was unaware of what he was doing or even where was he. His lips formed a thin line, visibly annoyed by my presence and I kept the glass on the table before pacing out of the cafeteria.

"Why am I such an asshole?", I banged the door to my room behind me before settling myself on the bed, grabbing my hair in pure frustration. He must be thinking how dumb I am. How could I forget that neither does he like pineapples nor can he consume them- not until he had a death wish. I heard the door to the other room click open, meaning they were back from the feast. Yes, even God was against that he allotted them the room next to mine for me to hear them laughing and giggling all day.

Was it a sign?

That I was practically losing the hold of my husband to a monkey looking guy?

"No way in Hell.", I immediately stood up, my fight or flight kicking in and had almost kicked down their door but restrained myself. I softly knocked, trying my level best to maintain my calm demeanour. "...I know right.", Mingyu opened the door, his face twisting into something malevolent.

"Yes?", if only God would forgive me for one murder, I wouldn't have hesitated to commit it, then and there. He was treating me as if I were to belong to the room service staff. "Move.", I pushed him aside before making my way into the room. Jake was lying on the bed, surfing through his phone when he saw me. What made my eye twitch was the shorts he was wearing, baring his silky smooth thighs and legs.

"What do you want?", his tone was cold- pretty unlikely for a cheerful guy like him. "Pack up.", I addressed. "Sorry?", he seemed confused and sat up straight to face me. "Pack up. You're moving in with me.", I was firm and had no intentions of leaving without him and his luggage. "And, who says that?". My face curled up at his bold remark. "I'm the superior authority and I don't want my employee lurking around when it is time to work.", I forced a sarcastic smile.

"Well then, I'm sorry boss but I'm already off of work hours."

Fuck, yeah.

The shoot was done which meant he was done for the day. I smiled at him, before grabbing a place beside him.

"Well, now is when your marital hours start, honey. Pack up."

My tone was deceiving the smile my lips were adorned with. He stared at me frozen, not even moving an inch. I clapped my hands, "Chop chop."

~

I glared at Mingyu before leaving his room and entering my own with Jake's hand in mine who was still pretty stunned to say the least. Shoving him inside I closed the door behind him to reach upto that smirking monkey who stood supported against the wall, a seductive expression clouding his face. "It's better to mind your own business and not stick your long ass nose in other people's lives.", I pointed towards the pronounced criminal.

"Well, it's really not my fault that you don't know how to treat you beautiful husband, right?", my fists balled at the assertion, teeth grinding against each other. "Say one more thing about my husband and I won't hesitate to get you thrown out of here.", my tone dropped by a couple degrees before I marched back to my room, not before kissing my middle finger in front of his face. I heard him faintly chuckle as the door was shut.

I saw Jake sitting on the bed, admiring his surroundings. Of course, he should. My room was the luxury suite while the one he was staying at, wasn't. "Don't talk to him.", I broke the silence earning a dumfounded look. "Huh?"

"I said, Don't.Talk.To.Him.", I had just moved dangerously close to him, causing him to lay back a little just so our faces did not collide. "Get me?", I grabbed his chin bringing him closer. He nodded frantically, making me smile.

"Good boy, aren't you?"

What the fuck did I just say?!

(Day 400- If your husband is ill-mannered, nurture your alpha.)
