Nabi.
Nabi.
NABI!
I felt myself jolt awake. Firm hands gripped my shoulders to keep me in place. My movements were frantic. It was as though I were unconsciously panicking. I felt someone try to shake me back to reality. My vision clears and Jungkook's face is the first thing I see. His brows were furrowed into a worried expression, his eyes searching for any sort of injury on me.
My breathing slows into a much more acceptable pace. The adrenaline wears off and Jungkook loosens his grip around me. "Is she bit?" A panicked Roseanne quizzed from the other side of the room. Jungkook shook his head and moves away, his eyes not leaving mine.
"You worried us. We almost thought you were bit." Yoongi huffed, a sigh of relief leaving his lips before he goes back to stare at the ceiling. I don't reply and I force myself up, grabbing onto any solid surface to keep myself from faceplanting to the ground.
Jungkook was quick on his feet and immediately held my arm back in case I stumbled. "Maybe you should sit down for a while." He reminded and tried to coax me into sitting near the window for some fresh air. But I had a selective sense of smell at the moment.
There was no fresh air.
Just the stench of blood and death that engulfed the entire school.
I shrug Jungkook's hand off with a sharp glare. "I'm fine." He only responds with an unamused scoff. I could only assume that he doesn't exactly believe a word I'm saying. And honestly, I don't think I do too.
"Any sign of the others?" I asked.
No one answers.
I grit my teeth as I run a hand through my hair. "We need to get out of here. Ideas, anyone?" I spoke out. We needed a plan out of here and fast. The others could be god knows where at this point. Fuck, were they even alive?
Yoongi sat up, his palms pressing against the floor before he speaks. "We can't just run out of the classroom. There's too many of them outside and we're a little short on manpower." There was a hint of sass in his tone, but I let it slide. We're all on edge given the situation we're in, so I can't really blame him for being that way.
