Jungkook sat at his expansive desk in his office, surrounded by stacks of paperwork and his computer screen filled with spreadsheets and emails. The large windows behind him offered a panoramic view of the city, but his attention was solely focused on the tasks at hand. His fingers flew over the keyboard as he typed out a report, the sound of clicking keys the only noise in the quiet office.

The ring of his phone broke the silence, signaling that it was almost time for Evan to finish school. Jungkook paused, glancing at the clock on his computer screen. He leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair as he sighed deeply.

"Finally, almost time to pick up Evan" he murmured to himself, stretching his arms above his head. The thought of seeing his son always brought a smile to his face, but today, a part of him was hoping Evan might have forgotten about the ice cream shopkeeper, Diminie. The memory of Evan's excitement from the previous day was still fresh in his mind, and he couldn't help but feel a bit apprehensive.

"He probably forgot about it" he said, trying to convince himself. "Kids have short attention spans, right? He's probably moved on to something else by now."

Jungkook picked up his phone and checked the time again, feeling relieved. "Maybe he won't make a fuss about going to the shop. It would save us a trip, and I can get back to work sooner."

He leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes for a moment to gather his thoughts. "But then again, he was so excited about that shop. It wouldn't hurt to let him visit, just this once. It's just an ice cream shop, after all. How much trouble can it be?"

Jungkook sighed again, this time with a touch of resignation. "Who am I kidding? Evan won't forget. He was so determined yesterday. I should probably just accept that we'll be making a stop there."

He stood up from his desk and walked over to the window, looking out at the city below. His thoughts drifted to Jimin, the shopkeeper he had seen briefly that morning. "I wonder what it is about that shop that fascinates my Evan so much. Maybe there's something special about it that I'm not seeing."

The idea of discovering what had captivated his son intrigued Jungkook. "Alright, maybe this visit won't be so bad. If it makes Evan happy, it's worth it."

He turned back to his desk, gathering his things in preparation to leave. As he put on his coat and grabbed his keys, he felt curiosity. The prospect of visiting Diminie's shop and meeting Jimin properly for the first time was starting to seem less like a chore and more like an opportunity.

With one last look around his office, Jungkook walked out, ready to pick up Evan and see where the day would take them.

In the bustling schoolyard, children laughed and played. Amidst the cheerful chaos, Evan stood with a playful grin on his face, his eyes sparkling with mischief. He was trying to scare his friends, his little arms outstretched as he wiggled his fingers in an exaggerated manner.

"Boo!" Evan exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement as he tried to spook his friends. He jumped toward a group of them, his playful antics drawing giggles and shrieks from the children.

One of his friends, a girl named Lily, let out a high-pitched yelp, her eyes wide with pretend fear. She backed away, holding her hands up defensively. "Evan, stobb! You'le scwaring me!"

Evan quickly dropped his arms, his face softening into a smile. "Dwon't be shcared, Lily! It's jwust me. I'm not a rwaal monshter, see?" He wiggled his fingers again, this time less menacingly, and then put his hands on his hips, trying to look serious but failing as a giggle escaped him.
