"So let me get this straight, Uliana's revenge is from a cookbook, that we have to steal?" Chloe nods her head and Hugo scoffs.
"Me and pretty girl are going to the dance, why don't we just make sure that she doesn't eat it." Hugo says and Chloe shakes her head.
"But that's not the point. The point is that we know where the book is now, the solution is clear." Chloe says.
"For sure." Red replies back, Chloe sits down in a chair and Berkleigh sits on one of the beds.
"Yeah." Berkleigh let's out, get book, hide it and go to castlecoming to make sure the vks aren't planning anything.
"It's time to tell principal Merlin." Chloe says, Berkleigh and Red look at eachother with confused faces and Hugo glares at Chloe.
"We need to come clean, he can help us." Is she serious right now?
"No. Help us? He's not going to hand over a banned book to us." Hugo says.
"Do you have a better idea?" Chloe asks, standing up again.
"Yeah, we do it ourselves." Red says, as if it was obvious.
"We break and steal it, that's not only what Uliana is going to do but the only that we can make sure the book is safe."Hugo says and Chloe scoffs.
"You wanna break into the principal's office? It's enchanted and castlecoming is tomorrow. We only have one shot to get this right and your idea is to steal." Chloe says.
It's official Berkleigh's not getting involved but she's surely ending this.
"And your plan is to go tell the teacher? You're such a goody-goody." Red says, Hugo looks at Berkleigh who is shaking her head.
"I'd rather be a goody-goody than a bad person." Chloe replies back.
"You sound like your mom." Hugo says.
"Thank you."
"How'd that work out for her?" Chloe glups in response and Red looks at brother disproving of his comment.
"You know, the rumours were right the entire time, you're both really evil just like your mom."
Hugo's mind flashes back to the mirror that showed him as king before the coup happened. If there was one word to describe Hugo's feelings right now it would be guilt.
"That's it!" Berkleigh shouts and the three look at her.
"I'm calling the shots, Chloe I will get your mom to castlecoming, Bridget told me everything. And I will only do that, if I know that Bridget will safe on her own, without me worrying about the prank. If the only way to do that is through breaking into Merlin office, then we have no choice. Hugo, you took it to far, go and think for a bit and then come back and apologise." Berkleigh let's out a breath.
