After picking up the pocket watch, the Red Princess turned to look at the two girls.
"So you guys will help me save my mom?" She asked.
"And mine," Chloe added.
The three girls walked off, gazing at the serene sight in front of them. They walked past tons of people, who were probably students.
"Hi!" The curly haired girl waved at nearly everyone walking past.
The White Princess let out a chuckle at her friend's actions. On the other hand, Red rolled her eyes before approaching a sign. It read 'Merlin Academy'.
"Merlin Academy?" She stared at the sign, curiosity in her eyes.
The two other Princesses glanced at the sign to.
"That was the name of Auradon Prep before Beast and Belle united all the kingdoms," Chloe explained.
The redhead seemed puzzled. "How do you know all this?"
"I love History! Don't you?"
The cousins both shook their heads.
"Not really," Red exclaimed.
"I'm not really into History, I prefer subjects like writing," Paige answered.
The Blue Princess rolled her eyes at the lack of enthusiasm on the subject. Before another childish argument could start, the trio walked forward and into the gigantic building. The three princesses stopped in front of another poster. This one read 'Castlecoming Dance'.
"Castlecoming, no way!" Chloe pointed at the poster, excitement filling her body. "That's where my parents fell in love. It's also the biggest event of the year from what I know!"
Red huffed at the girl's excitement. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm to busy trying to rewrite History,"
As soon as Chloe mentioned the poster, Paige knew exactly what happened, or at least she thought.
"Red, remember what your mom said about being humiliated at her first dance?" The white haired girl exclaimed. "This could be the dance she was referring too,"
The redhead listened carefully to her cousin's words. Maybe she was right. Studying the poster, she murmured.
"If someone really did a horrible prank to my mom there..."
"Maybe that's what turned her into the ruthless dictator she is?" The curly haired princess suggested.
"I guess that's understandable if the prank was a bit too far," Paige interjected into the conversation. "But what prank could be so cruel to make her like that?"
The three girls exchanged a glance. What was the prank? Stepping closer to the poster, a new thought lingered in Red's head.
"Maybe that's why the watch sent us back to this time," She stared at the poster. "To stop my mom from becoming... well, my mom I guess,"
Going silent, the two girls let Red's words sink in. The White Princess felt a bit bad for her cousin. After all, it couldn't have been easy.
"That's great... but how do we stop it exactly?" Chloe broke the silence.
Paige shrugged her shoulders. However, the Red Princess was quick to respond.
"Who have to figure out who is going to pull the prank that ruins my mom's life and stop them, somehow,"
Before anyone else could reply, an almost deafening bell rang in their ears. This signalled that it was time to get to lessons, but the trio didn't know that. Students around them began to gather up all their things and walk to their classes. Curiously, the three princesses followed a crowd of students into a bustling hallway, preparing to put their plan into action. Unknowingly, Paige got split up from her cousin and friend.
